The entire cast performed magnificently but Namgoong Min's acting is beyond description... his eyes achieve more than a thousand spoken words. Character development for the FL & ML from who they were during the peace time & to what they turned out due to tough times brought by war. You'll see a rare unconditional love & what a man would give or do for the love of his life. You'll melt when the ML (Jang Hyun) finally confesses his feelings to the FL (Gil Chae) after years of trials & tribulations they've gone through. Masterpiece!
I've watched this so many times - it's one of my absolute favorites. Now, when I see it, I'm always impressed by Jung Hae - In. He is such a "Natural" actor. He looks like he is living every moment of the story - not acting at all. This is real, serious talent. I hope to see a lot more of him far into the future. When he is finished with DP, I hope he can show up in a romance again. I will be glued to my seat, and happy to watch!.

He is such an amazing actor, the way he showed his happiness to see her move, his eagerness to see her, kiss her, care for her, ❤ biking around her, always trying to do special things for her, it just brings smile on your face, they are pure love, magical love story, you smile with them you cry with them, never seen this kind of fiery chemistry in any other drama, kudos to leads and writer and the director❤️🙌🏻 soundtrack is absolutely beautiful, it just makes you happy.
