Love your videos... very inspiring! You cover all the details to help us newbies get started! I’m excited to try my hand at growing beans now! Thank you!
I don't usually reach out and comment, but I feel compelled to let you know that this is one of- if not the- most beautifully articulated gardening videos I've seen yet. I can't quite put my finger on what it was, but something about the way you explained the process is so much easier to understand. Comprehensive but concise 🙏🏻 looking forward to learning more from you and your channel!! 🥰♥️ Thank you! 🙏🏻
I had an elderly dog that I found out loved frozen green beans in hot weather so I grew some pole beans in a big pot with a teepee trellis. He loved them fresh as well and I already knew they were good from prior gardening experience. I saved a few just sitting in my kitchen at the end of the season and planted them at the beginning of summer. It wasn't long before they sprouted. No beans yet, but I'm sure there will be. Our little guy passed away last summer, but our current little girl loves beans, too. This is a very helpful video especially about the drainage and fertilizing. Thanks so much to you and Tuck.
You can always pick up food grade containers at the grocery store, in the bakery department sometimes where they have icing, or you can always check at the restaurants. They may have pickled buckets, or other containers that food has came in. And most of the time they are free
It’s been years I have a garden. The older I get the more I crave veggies so I think it’s time to garden again! Thank you for all your wonderful videos and your enthusiasm. I’m really looking forward to growing my own delicious food. Tuck is so cute, love seeing him in your videos. .
Your videos have given me the knowledge and the confidence to plant our garden in a very small space. I love how Tuck eats his veggies like a good boy! They have such a high nutritional value for us and our puppy loves! Keep making videos James! You’re making a difference.
One of the beans I started this year, thanks to your intro! My Jackie is loving pea pods as much as Tuck likes carrots and cucs so she said to tell him she is glad to see him eating the beans.
Partner and I rescued a dog off the road in March, then adopted her after not being able to find her owners. She loves the garden! I have tight rows of trellising that she loves to walk through--over and over. Garden is a bit of a maze, and after I showed her how to get through it all she likes to slowly do it on her own now lol.
James I love ❤️ Tuck every time I see him it reminds me of Roxy rest her soul!!!! I love your food Forrest and a lot of other gardening channels mention you!! You are AMAZING!!! I have learned a lot from you
I love your helper …he is soooo adorable….I recently lost my yorkie of 15 years…..I was devastated…they are so much a part of our lives….it’s so hard to say goodbye….your baby is so sweet….enjoy him while you can…..also thanks for the video…I really appreciate it
Love your channel! I have a Yorkie named Tank. I started feeding him vegetables from my garden after watching your videos. He loves them! Thank you! Wish I could send you a picture of Tank eating corn.
I'm your number one fan sir!!! My garden is looking good. My fruit trees are growing well from watching your videos. I already harvested my first veggies. ❤❤❤ Since I found your channel, I get more motivated!!! Thanks Sir James and Tuck!!! Amazing buddies😊
I got mine from my mother's garden last year, but I've found that you can actually grow them from the dry beans from the grocery store. I experimented with some dry black eyed peas from the store in my house over the winter, and they sprouted. Pretty sure you can do the same purple hull too if you can find them in the store.
You’re so encouraging! You explain everything about gardening in such a clear, informative manner. I can’t believe that I’ve actually successful this year! Truly, you are in your element and you found your calling. Thanks for everything. I think gardening should be offered in schools.
Wow nice video & helpful information🖒 because for a long time we are buying a black pot from plants shops & many people they don't think what do you think about the heat of the sun it heat the plastic pot & the heat it will damge the plants roots. from now i will not use any black pot & i will use only the white pot Thank you so much man Regards,🌷
Thank you from the UK for so much useful information, your enthusiasm is motivating me to try growing beans in a different way. I haven't previously had too much success.
I love to see what you're growing and how your growing it.... I've started growing in containers too! It helps plants get more water and food without other plants around taking it away. Plus... I like having things a little higher off the ground... so I don't have to go down so low.... and, so the bunnies don't hop up and eat it! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for another great video! Just getting ready to plant.my beans, so glad to see they can grow in container. I had wondered about that. Love seeing Tuck, he always makes my heart happy. I had to say goodbye to my 15+ year old schnauzer in May. It broke my heart. She loved eating veggies when she was younger. I miss her so much. Watching Tuck encourages me that in time, I might have a new little buddy to garden with.
I love this segment. Thank you James!!! I never even thought about gardening food in a pot or bucket. You are so clever! Me and my chihuahua "Chica" love you and Tuck. We always learn a great deal. And we have lots of fun too🥰💚💜💚
I never thought about growing beans in containers before as I usually use my containers for patio tomatoes, pumpkins and watermelons but might give it a grow next season
This was so helpful! What I love so much is also mentioning how many you planted in whatever size container. As a beginner this has been the biggest overwhelm... Planted way too many seeds and now have no idea how many more containers to buy to fit them all. Great video, thanks a lot :)
YOU have inspired me to grow my own home made vegetables and fruits. We have 4 seasons summer autumn winter and spring. Plan to begin planting indoors in February then plant outdoors as warmth begin. LOVE YOUR GARDEN 😂😊😅🎉🍇🍎🍉🍐🍏🫒🫑🌶🍓🧄🥑🥒🥦🥬🧅🥕🫐🍑🥕🥔🍒
Good to know about the soil mixture. I’m learning how vital it is to growing. I also refer back to your compost making. Seeing Tuck makes my day. Cheers.
Ok third time watching this video and I have dragons tongue beans growing and holy cats the plants are HUGE!!! I planted in red buckets and WOW!!! There are three plants in each bucket. And the flowers are adorable little purple beauties!
I really enjoy and learn from your videos. I too have a four leg companion in my garden. My question for you is how do we keep them safe by not eating plants we enjoy eating that may make them sick? I feel better when they are eating healthier treats like tuck does. You have been a blessing during this trying time.
I really enjoy your enthusiasm and format. Excellent camera work and editing by somebody! I've gotten to look forward to your intros and outtros, lol. It forms a sort of family atmosphere and includes valuable info and interesting delivery. Thank you very much for all the hard work and helpful tips. Keep em coming!
I'm looking forward to loving green beans again! I planted a Dragon's Tongue bean as per your recommendation James. It was late in the season so I brought it indoors, and we just harvested our first bean! So yummy - my 8yo son was really excited too ❤also, the blossoms were a surprise - that color is absolutely insane
For sure I enjoy your videos, you Tuck and cameraman inspired me to gardening. This year is my 2nd year , I'm proud if my improvement but, I have so much more to learn. Thank you!

So beautiful garden. As for me in south east Texas it's been raining so much that everything is done. But it happens. God bless James!
That's why I love the grow bags. You can move your plants if you need too. Works great.
I also got one of those portable green Houses from home Depot and it works great
Going in the woods to get soil and adding compost with some potting soil 😊

Thank you James! Love the way Tuck pationly waited for the bean. I'm in germany, my garden season just started two weeks ago.
Great info James. I garden in an occasional swamp. Wet soil much of the time. But containers and mounded or raised beds are my only way.
Thanks
