Changing units C to F:
With power off, press and hold the "On/Off ' button for about 5 seconds until "- - -" is shown with the current C or F setting. Release and press the "On/Off " button again to switch the unit and release. After about 3 seconds the unit is ready for taking temperature when the age range icons start to scroll.

I hate this thermometer. Impossible to get it out of the baby range. Pure garbage!
