24 slot 3 HP single phase motor(with 2 capacitor):
Resistance of Starting coil is 2.4 ohm and Running wind is 1 ohm, Is it OK?
Motor start with full speed but after about 10 seconds (probably when centrifugal switch trip) run very slowly,
Should I change Run capacitor or rewind the motor?
Also draw about 30 ampere initially then Ammeter indicator
vibrate from 1 amp to 10 amp.
Note: It is repaired after much overheating.

I've some questions. what's called those copper wiring inside and part of winding put together side by side in a circle which two heads are each one in curved and are in the line? so if one or two of them are black like dirt or oil is it burnt? when scratched is like copper color underneath. the low speed rpm having sparkle but the high speed is ok. can we use the hi rpm only? is motor is ok? or it should be replaced with new windings? and if it's so can we replace the low only or whole together?if all wires show number in ohms motor is ok? or burnt (let's say semi burnt) winding show numbers? final question is which winding is run which one is start? which one is low and which one is high?

Sir maire pass ek motor ha single phase jo ki wet grinder ki motor ha..par usko mai start kr rhaa hun to gaammmm gaammm ka sound kr rhee ho...or run nahi ho rhee ha...maine shock test kiya ha....4 wire nikli ha par unmai continuity nahi aa rhii..to motor ko kya problm ha...ek starting cap.n jal gya ha or motor b stuck ho gai ha...kya problm ha usme sir...?
