I was idolizing a relationship in my life by trying to be a people pleaser to the point where I had built up strongholds of anger, bitterness, self-doubt, and self-pity. In 2020 God finally brought everything to the surface, even the things I was ignorant too. I thank Him for his discipline and then wrapping me in His arms and reminding me of who I am in His eyes. He has delivered me and I give Him praise. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I've had a similar experience, but be encouraged. God removes them so He can take up His rightful place in our hearts. Whereas, the arm of flesh will fail you, He will not.
I went through that and am on the other side of it. There is power & hope in the name of Jesus. He changes lives! Be encouraged and focus on His promise/word!💞
I pray your strength in the Lord in Jesus name. Sometimes God just move people or things out of our lives in order to build our relationship with Christ. And to teach us how to love and value ourselves as individuals, and to teach us how to not idolize marriage, relationships, or whatever the case maybe.

I've done self deliverance before but with my insecurities I never viewed them as a stronghold until the Lord started giving me revelation and that's when my mind became renewed. Often times there's a set time for deliverance because there's a lesson to be learnt

Lisa Bevere's testimony really confirmed to me that a major idol in my life is the pursuit for beauty and attractiveness. Growing up, I was often teased heavily (by both school mates and family) about my looks and now as an adult, I find myself never wanting to be in that painful and embarrassing position EVER again. Please pray for me that I may heal from those wounds and that I may release this idol.
My need to please others is an idol My insecurity about my weight is an idol My need to be right all the time is my idol My fear of not being married or having children is an idol My endometriosis and the troubles in my womb are my idols. I have many idols which I need to destroy

i have a friend that says she can't do this or that because she has 5 lbs. to lose..talking on the phone she is on her lunch break and i ask what is for lunch and that is the type of answer. This helps me pray.
People say “Either Jesus did it or He didn’t” and “Either it is finished or it isn’t” yet then they choose doctors and meds. They’re saying “I trust You God, I believe You God…. with everything except my health, my body, and I’m going to trust MAN - doctors and meds for that.” In America the majority of people, and sadly Christians included, worship Pharmakeia instead of Jesus. They argue that “God gave man medical knowledge. Oh really? I do not find in scripture anywhere that Jesus told anyone to go to a doctor or take medications. And scripture makes it clear what Pharmakeia is. However, satan has cleverly disguised it and SOLD it to people - including way too many Christians - as the answer. More people die every year from prescriptions and medical procedures than car accidents. Actually Jesus DID DO IT, but most Christians do not actually believe that truth.
If our bodies are mean't to be the temple (spiritually & physically) then nobody should have weight problems it wouldn't be acceptable its not good for the knees heart feet etc. in general so my question would be how could God accept it? I for one don't feel good been overweight. Just asking?
