Out of all the actors on the show drew is the one that often stands out to me I could see him winning awards or even an Oscar one day there is something so intense about his acting that outshines the others no hate I love them all

I sympathize with Rafe too but people calling him "poor baby" gives me the ick. He was mistreated and deserved better from his dad, yes. He needs mental help, yes. He isn't a sociopath, no. But he is an aggressive murderer. He was aggressive this season too. He had a knife to Sarah's neck and she was pregnant. Rafe didn't do anything redeeming in this season. He never apologized for trying to drown his little sister to death or for killing Peterkin and yes he seems to care about Wheezie and Sarah a little but he is still not a good person in any conceivable way bro. And he's not a baby he is 22 years old lol. His character is incredible proof that hot white male characters can get away with absolutely anything lol.
People praised him for talking Shoupe out of arresting the pougues which makes me think the viewers are dumb bc he obviously did it so they can help him find Groff and get his money back LMFAOO

All of those thing’s that Rafe did in season 1 , how psychotic he was , and yet , he is changing now , he’s becoming better now , and it seem’s that he actually does care about Sarah , not bad , im rooting for him. This is just one of thise thing’s that teache us how complex human being’s are , Rafe was never evil , and despite the fact that he has a long way to go before he fully turn’s thing’s around , im pretty sure that will get there.

I feel like Kie does have some sort of empathy for Rafe, because first she saves him from drowning and then when he said he was going to fight the guys in the sandstorm, she was worried about him getting killed.

Partially maybe, but also from the fact that Rafe might just be a narcissist. He didn't seem to accept himself too and wanted to BE his father. At first he was absolutely trying to make his dad proud, and wanted to prove something to other people but he was unhinged in his own. He started his own downfall when he killed the sheriff, and ward started his own when him and big john got into it. I don't really feel bad for him tho. I did briefly, because I love the actor's performance and he kinda fine; but this is not The Vampire Diaries lol. We are not left with or almost forced to like horrible, toxic, annoying, or sociopathic people just because they're attractive 😂. But like i said im somewhat empathetic but at the same time he deserved all of the few bad things that have happened to him. I do however hope his character progresses.

He wanted to apologize and if he ever told his friends that his friends would think he’s crazy so he wouldn’t do it. It the people that he hangs out with to make him the way he is. He did some bad things but people change.
Instead of trying to get him together with Kie, maybe Season 5 should focus on Rafe trying to repair his relationship with Sarah and the rest of the family.

It’s truly disgusting. A lot of us have our own trauma but we haven’t done all the unforgivable things he has done. Having trauma is no excuse to kill people, to hurt people, to treat others like crap because of their social status, etc
