Doug, great job with your channel. Good on Andy for mentoring you and bringing you out of that messy stuff. Hey, I heard from sources that in 2019, you got extremely sick. What was that about?

Oh gosh it was absolutely terrible. I’ve had illnesses in my childhood like sore throats, congestion, sinus infections, colds, viruses, etcetera. But my Mom and me both agree that I got my worst illness ever in December 2019.
We traveled to El Paso to visit Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico and then for the purpose of touring parts of Texas. While on the way there, I suddenly got terribly sick. I had a whooping loud cough, I could barely breathe, I had abscesses all over my body that oozed pus, I had a high-fever, I had diarrhea, I sneezed out tons of infected snot every ten minutes, I was throwing up, I had a headache, I had rashes, was wheezing, and I was nauseous. I toughed it out and toured the entire Carlsbad Cave, but by the time we exited the National Park, my illness was getting extremely worse. My vision, even with my glasses, became blurry. I was urinating brown pee, and I was theorizing that I was about to die. I had a feeling that my organs were shutting down. However, Mom took very good care of me - we cancelled the final 4 days of touring Texas so I could recover and she had me drink many bottles of electrolytes to filter out all the toxins in my body. I had to drink several capsules of Alca-Seltzer within hours of each other, and I just rested. The next morning, it was the same thing - I drank several bottles of electrolytes, several Alfa-Seltzer tablets, and, upon talking to a nearby doctor, Mom had me drink this really disgusting in taste beverage that stunk like hell but was full of anti-biotic nutrients. This went on for the remainder of the trip. By day 5, I was starting to feel better. I wore a mask on our flight back home. By the next day, my temperature was back to normal, and, during one final throw-up, all of the remaining infection came out of my body. I had no further congestion, my headache went away, and I just felt 100% better after that final vomit.
Mom and me speculate, based on the global pandemic the next year, that the illness was my first case of COVID-19 at the time. Especially since I never had any illnesses like the one I had in December 2019. It was by far, as sick as I’ve ever gotten. At the time I did weigh 320 pounds, which certainly didn’t help my body in fighting it better. But it was bad. I’m glad I got through it. God was with me.

@@ferbgriffin9751 yeah. On May 26th, 2016, I graduated from high school. It was the end of my very terrible senior year that I’ve been open about. I was already mentally exhausted after my junior year, but I got pushed to near-insanity with all the pressure and exhaustion as I went through 12th grade. At the time, I was struggling to get a full night’s sleep consistently which caused me to very often, fall asleep in class. My sleep cycle was completely out of whack, and cycle. After I graduated, I had a party called the Senior Lock-In hours after graduation. I stayed the whole night through and didn’t come home until 5am in the morning. When I got home, I took my morning pills and went to bed to get some rest. I crashed, and, after what seemed like only a few seconds, I woke up and found myself in a hospital bed. I felt groggy and disoriented but refreshed.
I was surprised as I had fallen asleep on my bed at home. I had a feeding tube going down my mouth, and when I woke up, I saw Mom sitting on a bench next to my bed, looking relieved. I didn’t know why I was there, until I was informed by the doctor, to my shock, that I had been asleep for 6 days and 6 nights. Mom had come home a few hours after I fell asleep and let me rest until she noticed something was amiss when I didn’t wake up by the evening. At first, Mom and Harrison thought I was ignoring them when they tried to wake me up but when Harrison took my head and shook it back and forth and I didn’t wake up, they took me to the hospital near the Safeway in Florence, AZ. The doctors determined that I did not overdose nor was in any danger, but that I was simply asleep. They presumed that something rare happened - a naturally-induced coma. When I woke up, it was June 1st of 2016. I really needed that rest. Because I had slept so much, I stayed up the next night and then stayed awake the next day until the evening, and then I began working on fixing my sleep problems. It took some time. Luckily, I woke up in time for the only graduation party I went to - George Obitz’ party.

Oh man! Where have you been the past few years? Douglas Kenney is, unquestionably, one of the most amazing people there ever has been in a long time. He overcame hardships from his childhood and is now rocking his whole world...he takes living life to the fullest to a whole new level. This kid has gotten himself in touch with Hollywood producers, directors, actors, race drivers, and even Roger Penske! He has brought on the producers and directors of Prince of Egypt, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Aladdin, and even actors such as Adrian Hall from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. And, he runs a terrific show with Andy McPhee called Relentless and Unstoppable. You seriously need to keep looking into this channel. Doug, Andy...we love ya!
