- In this Undertale mod, my LV is randomized after every fight! Will I die to a froggit at level 30? Am I good enough to beat Sans with barely any EXP or LV?

You would gain EXP if the bug was sentient. In Undertale EXP is a way of quantifying the pain you've inflicted on others. So, to that reason if the entity that you kill cannot feel pain, (either emotional or physical) no EXP will be gained. That spider that put a flower on Muffet's grave was clearly sentient and would by proxy garner the player EXP upon killing it, albeit likely a small amount.
@@theeternalsuperstar3773 if I crush a ants stomach it curls up in pain, I think a mosquito would feel that pain too
Plus they are sentient, just not really that smart,
Now that I think about it the spiders might have a really high lvl with all of the cannabilism they do
Also, emotional pain doesnt seem to effect love at all, it doesn't seem to matter even slightly
@@Metalicyt Ants and other arthropods like spiders curl up, not due to pain, but because they have no muscles. Their legs and segments are hydraulic pistons powered solely by their blood pressure. Upon the stopping of blood flow to an area in an arthropod's body they curl up.

What if Muffet was the only reason the spiders were able to live and by killing Muffet, you indirectly killed all the spiders over time? You get the EXP for all the spiders at once though.

One really basic thing you should know is that the step count makes it so that it’ll always be slower to grind enemies in one room instead of from a room transition, so it’s much faster if you exit and reenter the room at the very least after each encounter. There are other tricks obviously, like grinding the Hotland/CORE kill count on the bridge before the Mettaton fight, but re-entering rooms is the biggest and most easily memorable one.
Probably a good secondary tip is that generally it’s fastest to not grind until the end of each area (besides ruins since you get to skip Napstablook), and then grind at the last room possible. Obviously just kill whatever you encounter along the way.

@@goobertron9132 MysticSlime clearly isn’t a speedrunner that knows stuff in that level of detail, as then the CORE elevators being unlocked already during the geno route wouldn’t be a surprise (as it was in another recent video).

Knight Knight surviving the stick thwack at level 45 isn't that surprising IMO. Maybe the crit would have killed though. Knight Knight is the toughest non-boss monster in terms of HP (230) and a defense stat of 2.
Even glyde only has 220 HP, which is diminished by his -20 Defense.
I did the math. Knight Knight would survive the perfect crit stick at level 45
The Natural attack stat is calculated as follows.
ATK = -2 + (2 × LV)
ATK = -2 + (2 x 45)
ATK = -2 + 90
ATK = 88.
HOWEVER, while the ATK stat would be displayed as 88, it's internally calculated as 98 because there is an internal 10 extra ATK added to calculations for some reasons.
round((Weapon ATK + ATK - Monster DEF + r) * b)
- r is a variable ranging from 0 to 2, selected at random. it can include decimals
- b is a damage multiplier relating to how close the attack actually gets to the center. If it's a critical hit, it's set to 2.2.
The stick doesn't have any ATK boosting stats.
Even with a PERFECT ROLL, the damage isn't enough to kill

On a perfect damage roll with a stick crit, Knight Knight would only take 216 damage.
Knight Knight can actually survive this miracle crit as well at level 48, which will leave them with just 1 HP.

Having level 20 actually doesn't force a sans fight, it's a secret statistic in the game called murder level, and if the level reaches 16, you fight sans.

I really hope there's a "Glitchtale" mod of Undertale where you can fight gaster, be in the POV of Chara (from episode 4) and also the POV of Asriel or Chara in the finale

You meant that the player has the same amount of hp as he would of in phase 3 of disbelief papyrus
Imagine if it could only randomize to within 5 or 10 levels of the intended current one, something like that, so you can't just get levels like _45_ early game or ridiculously small like 1 at the end

Undertale but all the Dialogue is Generated by ChatGPT, and in every Playthrough the text is unique but still fits the character.
It is Technically possible but it would require deep knowledge of how Undertale works and the ChatGPT API.

What if every enemy you spared instantly died but it still counts as pacifist… and uh
While doing the normal ending, I noticed in asgore fight that as your lvl increases, the enemy's attack also increases.
Monsters have a code depending on your remaining HP their attack increases
Per each 10 HP past 20 their attacks increase 1 damage
LV1 = normal damage
LV2 - 3 = normal damage +1
LV 4 - 5 = normal damage +2
LV6 - 8 = +3
LV9 - 10 = +4
LV11 - 13 = +5
LV14 - 15 = +6
LV16 - 18 = +7
LV19 - 20 = +8

But LV20 goes from 92 to 99hp how does that work for the randomizer? Does it add 7 to the hp or does LV20 only go up to 96hp?
