Brennan and Katie, I completely get it. I arrived back at school today and was an emotional wreck. I love my family so much, and even though I’m very close to them, I still get so sad going away from them. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one. You guys are going to do great! I love how lovey they are. They are such good kids. Like Katie is 17 or 18 can’t remember but her laying with Jill at the end is the sweetest thing ever. A lot of girls that age would do that. She seemed so innocent almost like a child just wanting to be with Jill. Job well done raising them mike and Jill!
It was always really hard for me to go back to school after an extended break. You get so used to being around your family again and being relatively stress-free that returning to that space of near consistent stress is really difficult. The transition is hard but it gets easier.
Jill how very right you are... You are teaching your children in word and by action. Allowing them to grow as individuals, experiencing life for themselves, still being there for them though and spending quality time together. Your words and actions are then seen in the children. How all three hung out together on the cruise and especially how Katie took care of Brennan. They didn't abandon each other an they didn't need to run and get Mam or Dad to sort out the problem. The closeness of bonds within the family unit really shows how letting your children grow responsibly with guidance, learning through their own actions and mistakes creates responsible, mature, loving young adults. It's only 7.30am here so so far watching this vlog has made me happy and putting the bird feed out on a frozen crisp underfoot morning also made me happy. Grateful I can afford that little luxury to help out the birds in Winter especially.
College always comes first Katie. Besides, I went to college and I just wanna to get my work done before I graduated on time. So I graduated and I’m a free girl, and I work on TH-cam self employed full time. Also I got my grandmother 2 new glasses from Eyeglass World. That’s what made me and my grandmother happy.

I transferred to a school closer my sophomore year and commuted from home. It was one of the best decisions ever. I still live close to my parents. Dorm life was a lot of fun but the saying there is no place like home is a true statement for me.

Katie has been doing more on social media, brand deals, etc. Brennan is a business major, so he's working for her on her social media brand deals. Win / win for both of them. His internship is for his major though, I'd be curious to hear what kind of internship he's doing as well. 🙂

Do what you enjoy and money & a career will follow. Uni is not for everyone at this stage in life, a lot of people dont know what they want to do straight after school and if they do, half of the people end up finding that the course that they completed wasn’t for them. Sometimes stepping back from uni, putting it on pause and discovering yourself more is what you need. Living away from the comfort of your home and parents is the best thing you can do for yourself! Get uncomfy to live comfy is my saying 😊
