  • A slideshow of photos I took during the second day of an overnight stay in Enniskillen in County Fermanagh on Monday 6th May 2019.
Photos include Enniskillen Castle, the crypt of St. Michael's Church, St. Macartin's Cathedral, Riverview Jetty, Famine Memorial, Mount Lourdes and Enniskillen Bus Station.
Enniskillen (Irish: Inis Ceithleann) is the county town of County Fermanagh. It is located almost exactly in the centre of the county, between the Upper and Lower sections of Lough Erne. It had a population of 13,823 in the 2011 census which makes it the largest town in County Fermanagh. It was the seat of local government for the former Fermanagh District Council before it amalgamated with Omagh District Council to form the present Fermanagh and Omagh District Council.
