😃
😮😮😮 no Michael is selling up I'm gonna miss that guy he's like one of the scrap and palit family 😢😢😢😢😢😢
1.. thanks for your service.
2.. Kinda shocked to see Dekalb forsale.. seen it online now for 1.5M. Wonder what the story is..
Hello Paul. 👋 Thank you for your service and dedication to our nation. You are AWESOME ❤😂
Thank you for your service Paul.
Thank you for your service and dedication my friend. Very much appreciated. ❤
What I’m doing watching Paul on the scrap&pallet man. Went out this morning first three streets. I picked up two washing machines a table and a chair and I was done. Went back home and fixed one of the machines and sold it
That is excellent work.
Hello Paul thank you for your service and dedication much appreciated. How dose a scrap yard close they always looked busy and very friendly. Nice little haul. Thank you for sharing have a blessed day ❤
Hi Crystal. Good questions
Awesome find Paul those baseball cards will be loved again thank you for saving them God bless you and your family Paul.
Hey Taylor! Yes I think someone else will get to enjoy these
Paul, it was great to see you tonight. Hopefully youll go to the other scrap yard where you're getting. 08 per hundred, that other one was just too low priced. Thanks for taking us along and for being you ❤️. 😊😊😊😊
@@fayeschipper3537 that's what happens when you lose competition. Sad news.
What happened to the Scrap yard? Why closed? Says open on the internet? I hope Michael is ok!! 😳
Love your post and love that you love the Lord and not ashamed to say so❤️🙏
thank you for your service
Hi Beth. You are most welcome my friend
your welcome friend
I was wondering why you have not been taking scrap to the yard where Michael worked, thanks for the update.
I'm not sure what's going on with them
Thanks for sharing your history @ Panama. You are well beloved, indeed.
Loved the story about your coast guard days. ❤
Hi Paul 🙋🏽 I hope you are feeling well and having a wonderful day ‼️
Nice drive ,good bath pick copper pans, handles heat up ,nice gift😊 16:33 16:33
I really enjoy watching you and your prayers.❤❤❤
😊
Always great when you post you inspire people brighten our day thanks for posting my friend needed it today take care and god bless you all
So glad you took the cards. They will be happy to be cherished somewhere else. That is terrible that Dimco is for sale . Without competition you are not going to get fair prices. I hope thats not true . Blessings ,Paul . Have a great week . Keep Safe❤Keep Well ❤
I think you're right
Hey Paul, the reason you usually find cast iron tubs in pieces is that they are easily broken with a sledge hammer which makes them easier to carry. Six 50 pound pieces vs one 300 pound piece. I can't believe they carried that thing out to the curb in one piece.
I couldn't even budge it
Ha Paul love the videos. I took a bunch of scrap I had to a yard close to my house and got the same price you got. Thats what I get for not wanting to go to the other side of town. Live and learn. Good luck scrapen.
Very frustrating
hey brother Paul awesome video love your videos be awesome stay awesome be your self have a awesome great bless day and night you and your family thank you for letting me ride with you and seeing what you are picking up awesome stuff God is blessing you your brother DENNIS ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Great vlog. Found a few things twice. Be safe.
Nice to see you Paul, glad that I got you back on my Algore Rhythym
Good evening Paul! I'm a sportscard collector and when I saw you pulling them out of the recycling container I pritnear had a coronary! 😆 🤣 😂 Thank you Paul and God bless you 🙏
It is so many sports cards
@ScrapPalletMan IF you haven't sent out to your friend, I can PayPal you for the cards and shipping?
Thank you for your service Paul!
Now a small rant. You were not afraid to look at trash when you first started. You opened bags, stuck your head in the trash can. Almost standing on your head worried you might miss something. Paul you be the change and start doing this again. There was a baseball card on the wood that you never saw. And I would say every second time you miss something you would save. That is what caused me to follow you, you weren't afraid.
Nice saves today.
Hello Paul & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Paul & Friends Randy
Hi Paul those fry pan you found is copper i have a set cook very good they cost 20 buck's each good find take care God bless you
Talking about manure…I live in FL and when I was a kid, we had orange groves all around, and there was one grove we went by on my school bus. And at one particular time of year they used to fertilize the grove with chicken manure…you do not know a stink like chicken manure! It was awful!
My dad served his time in the army at the Panama Canal area, he was a medic. But, his service time was in the early to mid fifties. ✌🏼❤️
That sounds quite smelly
Kinda different 😯,but still interesting 🧐. Tks 4 sharing.
Major score on the baseball cards! I have such fond memories of collecting them as a kid and chewing that awful gum that came with them. My prize card was my Roberto Clemente one. Hope you’re enjoying better weather!
I gave the sports cards to these kids of a pastor. They did a video of it

Awesome follow-up, Paul! Some were from my city!
Great to see a new video fo you have any idea what happened tonthe scrapyard it seems like one of those businesses that would never close 🙏
I have no idea
Well look who drives in the driveway just as you need help with the bathtub I'd call that Divine intervention 💚💖💜🇨🇦🦩 Stay Happy 💫✨🌟✨
Hi Liz. Speaking truth :-)

I spend a lot of time in Waukegan and Zion
We don't care it was all over the place, we still watch your videos no matter what!!!
Awww 💚❤️💚
Hi Paul. Thanks for another ride along scrap video. Sorry about the Zimmerman experience and the sign at Dekalb metal was quite the shocker. One door closes and another one opens is true if we stay positive. Good things are always ahead if we look at life that way. The panama story was pretty interesting. Yup, you probably stood out just a tad bit...lol. Thanks again and looking forward to the next video.
Yep, like a sore thumb

Hi Mr. Paul, I’m glad you found Panama beautiful and sorry that you were not able to see the really beautiful interior. I was born and raised on the Pacific side of the Canal Zone and left for good 33 years later. I was gone just a little before the United States ousted Noriega. Fort Sherman is located on the Atlantic side of the canal and the major Panamanian city there is Colon. Panama City is the largest city in Panama located on the Pacific side. Very easy to turn them around. It has been 48 years since I left the Panama Canal Zone, and I get some of my memories confused also. My father left Sweden to help with the construction of the canal and my mother was born there a year after the opening of the canal. I was born on there during World War II and con testify it is a most gorgeous country. Sorry to ramble on and on and also sorry about the closing of Dekalb. Hope our friends there are doing well.
You're right memories do fade. I looked it up and it was port rodman that my ship moored up. Panama City was absolutely beautiful. I love the architecture and the people were so so kind to me
Hi Paul just come across your channel and can’t stop watching your old videos.
Your videos are really entertaining an educational sometimes..
Will be an avid watcher from now, keep up the good wok 👏👍👍
Hey Andrew. Thanks for the support my friend. I'm getting ready to put my boots on now to go do some scrapping. Hopefully we'll have a video out today
Oh my goodness, those copper pans are amazing. I have just one and it’s the best pan I have.
Yeah my girlfriend Renee grabbed those pans right quick
Glad you got help getting tub on
I have a pots and pan set i found just like that dumpster diving a couple of years ago, they are really nice, nonstick as well as easy to wash
Yeah the girlfriend grabbed those pans
I was so sad to see Michael's scrap yard closed. 😢
I think I was wrong. I saw them open today
Sweet score Paul 😀✌
Good find on the sports
Nice spots card find.
Sorry to see Dekalb iron and metal closed. They were great guys and gals.
They are back open
Paul, you really miss that wooden baseball card plaque in the trash can when you found all the baseball cards
My biggest dream is to find a card collection being trashed, nice save.
😎
Especially one from the 50s and 60s!
How does a scrap yard go out of business ? The yard always looked full of scrap !!
Beats me
Dekalb Iron and Metal is closing?! Hopefully they finally sold all their scrap lol. I've been watching you since, oh man, 2019? And I remember that place being your go to - especially our guy Michael! Nothing ever last forever, good times at Dekalb Iron and Metal and back to B&O I suppose! Seattle has our first official snow day in two years, I'm lovin' it - cheers Paul :)
Michael's scrap yard is back open
@@ScrapPalletMan Yay! Decided not to sell, huh?
I loved that claw foot table too!😊 Was that sad look Michael 's shop closed?
Hi Mr.Paul, i've had a very recent serious health setback, if you remember i had heart valve surgery last May, now my heart is racing skipping beats, back in the hospital, my wife is going to make me quit working and she's taking my phones, iPad and my laptop, she said i'm spending to much time on line and not enough time with her or sleeping, she's the boss, got to keep her happy, but she's worried and has my best interest on her mind and heart ♥ so i won't be chatting for a while.
Wise man listening to your wife.
trash picking awesome finding the baseball cards excellent video thank you Paul
James! You are awesome

Still can’t believe that the decal be metal is up for sale 😢
Them pans you found i think has like a 10 year warranty on them so they are really good pans
Good evening Paul!☺️
Hi Lizzie 👋😊 how is your evening going?
@ScrapPalletMan good thanks😄
That is so awesome that guy came to help you, but I was hoping for a Paul Rope Trick 🤣 A Sailor doing a dumb thing? No way man, never happens 😆😆
One time in Halifax I have no recollection of returning to the ship. None. I asked the watch stander the next morning and they said I was slowly walking through the Canadian naval Base to the ship all by myself. That's why I can't drink
@@ScrapPalletMan Had a few rough nights in my younger days as well. Glad that's behind me.
Well 75 years ago I was born in Lubbock Texas I always say my daddy got me back to Ivanhoe Tx as fast as he could That is in Fannin. County that is real close to Oklahoma right on red river
Hi Myrtle Happy birthday
Hello 👋🤗 Paul ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey! How are you today Bonnie?
Nice to see you Paul... when were you in St. John's harbor Newfoundland while in the Coast Guard???
I guess sycamore scrap yard will be your main scrap yard again
Hi Paul, wow sports cards cool, My grandfather was in ww1 he somehow got in two fight he was under age and ww 2 he guarded the Panama Canal. My other grandfather was in ww2 also but fought in battle of the bulge . I like to see if we could get canal back .
I was just watching about the Battle of Arden. Battle of the bulge. I didn't realize that they called it bulge because the Germans were pushing on the front lines where it bulged out lol
HELLO from Brazil 🙋
Obrigado
Need to go to b&o scrap yard 😊😊
Those copper pans are awesome to cook with. Super non stick surface. Please don’t scrap them.
My girlfriend already grabbed them
Bathtubs make great worm farms
Hey Paul. So decided to google Dekalb Scrapyard. I made sure that it was the right one. It showed several pictures of it in operation. That look like what we see in your videos. Well I think that I found the answer as to why it’s no longer there.
Apparently there is a city ordinance in the area that says that they must have a 10 foot high fence, all around the area where that they store scrap metal. And well they don’t. And have been having to deal with the city of Dekalb since 2012 over the issue. And in 2022 we’re told that they would have to cease business. Which I am assuming is what happened. Is that the city of Dekalb forced business for them to stop. That’s what I understand from the letters written.
The article I found says
Revoking ordinance 2012-070 providing a special permit use for
Whereas Dekalb iron and metal company.
I dug a little and that’s what I found.
I’m Sorry though, it’s So Sad..
Thanks for posting. Using your info I looked it up and confirmed that the fence was lower than the height of the piles of scrap, which is a violation that resulted in the license being revoked.
Thanks for the research my friend
No snow 🤷♀️
Our snow in Va just melted. Getting more tomorrow.
Just mud
@@ScrapPalletManhahaha
I work at the Dump on Saturdays and its just like this over and over and over, I bring what I can home but it just clutters my shop and I cant work. I try to sell some and people always flake out or its not worth my time. Or is it? I am torn, its hard because I cant save it all and at the same time so much has value left, maybe not monetary but someone can use it.
You're doing something good. Keep it up if you can.
You are totally right. It can be overwhelming.
Paul, humans are not apes 😂
There are five ape species. Chimpanzees, bonobos orangutans gorillas and human
Good video Paul
Is the junkyard that michael works at closed? Iyou certainly did not get much at the other Yard
I think so.
Hope you find a Rookie card in those albums worth a few thousand dollars!
Or the Honus Wagner!
DIMCO is closing their gates?? I used to take an occasional ride there with a load of insulated copper wire..gonna miss that place. I live about 45 min away too but was worth the trip.
Things change so fast, you never know who might buy them and might not have any interruption of service
Top Video Danke L.G Günter
Haven't seen you in awhile hope I can keep up with what's going on with you.
Hi Cindy. Glad you are back
Hi Paul from Detroit
I hate Detroit
@ScrapPalletMan I'm sorry what happened
Te salut din Botosani!
România!
Hello Romania
If thats the price no wonder the other yard shut down.
why did they throw football in the trash It must be the collectibles of these football cards
Good question
how did you get only $20 for that tub? Prices that low? I was getting 9 cents a pound for shred last week I hope prices didn't drop that much since last week.
Each scrap yard sets their own price. I should have checked before I dumped my scrap 😥
Tub is 300pounds
Wow the scrap yard went out of business
Not entirely sure. I just saw the for sale sign
@@ScrapPalletMan dang no more Michael and Katie.
Lol that tub is not all that it's cracked up to be
😅😆😂
Going to miss the occasional Michael cameo. Id stay away from Zimmermans. 👍
Enjoy video paul
That scrap price is terrible , did the other place close
I'm not entirely sure
You can buy the scrap yard
You think? Maybe If I could get a loan for it
There is another scrapping channel.I watch called Thornton Scrapper Thornton is a city in Illinois and his yard he always went to closed for good he said they were only taking semi and trailers. Now he said something about good to Bid Daddy Scrap don't exactly know where in Illinois that is.
An unfinished story Paul! Did you get in trouble for leaving the ship?
That was the end of the story. No one ever found out. No trouble. It was Grace because I should have gotten in trouble
Thanks for letting us tag along on another scrap run! That Big Cast Iron Tub looked Really Heavy, I've moved a few of them in my scrap runs! Dead weight, Hard to handle! 🎉 Glad you had some Help! God's Blessings on You and Your Ministry! 🎉
Great
