I'm enjoying my Pixel 6. It's enough for me and I'll upgrade later on when it's older. I just look forward to Android 14. Great video and yeah i kinda wish i had the G2 SoC but the first Tensor isn't bad at all even for gaming.
whats the difference between the g2 google sensor and the first one? i saw something about it and i dont know if its a big deal. im probably gonna buy the pixel 6 pro instead of the 7a
@@domie2007 the difference is the machine learning capabilities but it's not a lot. They do the same things. Only the Pixel 8 has that much newer abilities. The Pixel 6 pro will let you zoom in more and it's IP68 instead of just IP67. I think, but not 100% sure that the 7a is IP67. Basically rain can splash on it and that's it. I'm too tired to Google it.
@@somethingelse25 i feel you. Alr ty! Im probably gonna buy tbr google pixel 8 since it has 6 years of supported softaware and the cameras look amazing
Had a pixel 6 that I got at launch but ended up getting an s22 ultra because of the bugs. I really missed the pixel 6 tho, despite all the bugs. Just swapped from galaxy s22 ultra to pixel 8 pro and I love it. Pixel 3 was my first pixel phone and I loved it, still loved the pixel 6 despite the bugs, love the pixel 8 pro. I think pixel is my favorite android phone. Getting a 7a for work that way I'm not taking such an expensive phone to a job that has a decent risk of it breaking. Edit: I've only used a few android phones, samsung galaxy a10 is what i swapped to from iphone just to see if i wanted android, back to iphone with an iphone se, back to android with the pixel 3, then got pixel 6, galaxy s22 ultra, now pixel 8 pro and whenever it gets delivered, pixel 7a. Ive used my brothers iphone 12 pro and my moms iphone 14 pro max to see if i wanna get back into iphone, and while the iphone is faster, android is just my favorite. Pixel in particular so far.
I just upgraded from Pixel 6 to 7a for one and only reason, 5G! Sadly, in my country carriers dont support Pixel 6 even with root, but i have out of the box 5G with Pixel 7& newer!
For the main sensor, the Pixel 6's is larger AND it has laser autofocus, which the 7a does not. I have never used the 7a, but I would imagine that any main sensor advantages are actually due to a generational leap in image processing.
Megapixels are in sensor not in lens. Also pixel 7a has smaller sensor than 6. And neither of them can shoot at it's maximum resolution because its hardware binned.
In terms of cameras it seems that the 6 produces better low light photos. Other than that, they are basically the same or the 7a is better. Also the antenna reception on the 6 Series, especially for 5G, was reportedly very poor and so 7a is a lot better in rural areas and with 5G.

I also had the pixel 6. Now I have the pixel 8 pro and I'm gonna have a pixel 7a for work soon. I can say with confidence that the pixel 8 pro, and I would assume the pixel 8, are far better than the 6. I really, really love not having the curved edges. They look nice but that's about it. When I get my 7a I'll let you know how it compares to the 6 if you'd like, but pixel 8 pro is my favorite android phone out of the couple I've had.
@@s4.k10 I'd say the 7a. It has larger bezels around the screen which is a slight downside and has a plastic build instead of glass but the plastic feels very nice and it's hard to tell it's plastic. The 7a has the tensor g2 which is a nice upgrade from the original tensor and has less bugs than the pixel 6 had. Comparing the 7a to my 8 pro, the 8 pro wins in every category, which is to be expected. If you could spend a little extra to get a pixel 7 or pixel 7 pro, I'd say do that. If not, then the 7a is definitely the better phone in my opinion over the 6. You still get a 90hz OLED display, ip67 dust and water resistance, very solid cameras, quick wired charging and okay wireless charging. You also get a more responsive fingerprint reader which was a very lackluster feature on the 6.
Which is the clear winner again..?! 🤔
7A

Ive had both and enjoy both but honestly I still like the 6 design better as well as the size.
Wish they used actual glass on the 7a like on the 6.

I think you should give more Detail in camera part.
By giving more photos taken by the 2 phones.
I was able to get my hands on all the pixels from 6 on up. Of all of them, I honestly prefer the 6
still a solid design tbh.
