Great looking van, well thought out I guess your microwave is running via the inverter? With your hob and oven do you run two separate exhausts and two separate fuel line or can you combine the exhausts and lines?
Yes the microwave is running via the inverter. I originally tried a 12 volt microwave, however I had problems with voltage drop due to the length of cable as it was pulling around 100A from the battery. My current setup running from the inverter works perfectly! The hob and oven have two separate exhausts through the floor. I certainly wouldn't combine them as neither the oven or hob have a non return valve - they rely on the intake fan forcing air down the exhaust pipe. If one appliance is switched off, then the exhaust from the other could return through the air intake. The fuel lines are linked under the sink as the dosing pumps are inside each appliance. The same feed from the tank also feeds the air heater.
Great stuff. Thanks for the tour. Looks like a good home. Do you have a walk through to the cab or does the curtain just cover up the back of the double passenger seat? The shower looks cool
Thanks! It isn't a walk through as I wanted to retain three seats and have somewhere to store the bike. The blind simply covers the back of the original passenger seats. I can always climb over the seat if I became stuck in the back! I am pleased with the shower, it certainly works well. I bought an aerating shower head which saves a surprising amount of water, enabling me to have around 4 decent length showers when the tanks are full.
dont know why more ppl dont have diesel stoves and ovens in their vans - awesome!
Nice job 👍
Looks great! I'd love to see a more in depth video about your fridge at some point!
Nice job, have you got any info on the 12v projector please? Looking forward to the rest on the build :)
Nice job Approx cost of coversion?
