woohoo! feels good to get one going again doesnt it? i drove my 66 to the end of the drive way and back today lol.. first time its done that since 1989 .. keep up the great work brother
@@okspeedshop I wonder if a guy could weld that flywheel in the truck and grind it nice so the starter will grab those teeth if and when the need to lol
Long bed with short tail Th350, might see if anyone around has a 2 piece setup. You're probably looking at 72" for a single shift which usually means it needs to be aluminum and a 4". I'll look in my driveshaft bin to see what I got laying around
Funny thing I forgot to mention this truck doesn’t have a crossmember for a carrier bearing for some reason. Good news, I just heard from a customer driveshaft shop they are gonna just build me one. Tired of messing with it and ready to do a burnout haha
@@salmont9484 😂😂 I think I kind of got lucky on this carb. I think somebody had rebuilt it right before they blew the engine up. This was the one that was originally on the 305 that was trash. I think I’m going to just practice rebuilding the other quadrajet that I have to learn how to do it.

I know I honestly regret not adding a cam
She ran good. I can't say the same about the sunliner lol
😆😆 you win some you lose some
@@okspeedshop haha right. I think I know the problem though
I've got to look for a project for early next year. Hoping an old chevy
Awesome can’t go wrong with that!
Make sure you pay attention to the front and back jets on the carb.
How I know this is not important

What headers are you using for motor?
I am honestly not sure. They came off of an old project and didn’t fit in the other engine bay so I threw them on this.
the "idle" did not release
💪🔥🥇
the "idle" was not there
Do that engine have a cam or stock cam
@@drummaboiferguson2144 I think it’s just the stock cam
I hope you don't destroy your transmission. Running it with no fluid in it as hydraulic pumps Don't take to be running with no fluid very well
Thank you! I got some fluid for her 😎
and get your plug wires off the headers your going to burn them
Are u not going any more videos cause I been over 3 weeks since I made a video I hate shot video
