I just have to say, that improvised (?) (as you say hehe) solo on your version of `Grazy` most definitely rivals some of my personal favorite solos of such "vibe" guitar players like John Mayer and Stevie´. You have this very original thing going on with that jazz/classical/blues interpretation that´s difficult to point out theoretically. I think it´s just a musical brilliance that´s very hard to come by because it´s hybrid - crazy technique AND hardcore (clapton) feeling haha, I have no idea where I´m getting at..but I love your stuff. Keep the originals coming!
    Cheers from Norway man

I'm not a fan of music that can't be played on different styles of guitar (one common example is the left-hand thumb which is hell to use on a wide-neck nylon/flamenco/spanish guitar), but over-all I like the results here- good job! The slide-ins and right-hand muted strumming really stood-out as excellent.

All I got from this was to use your ring finger on the g-string
Nah for real tho, thank you!! I've been a huge fan of your cover (literally just shared it on facebook) and have wanted to figure out how you played these chords for so long now, this video is super helpful! Stoked to have come across your tutorials ❤🎶❤🎶

Just have to say, it's pretty cool that you put so much time/effort into not only making a tutorial, but a tab (tabbing can be a PITA, I know). By far my favorite version of this song and I love this. The break solo you threw in was throwing gas on an already hot performance.
    Huge thumbs up. Thanks again!

  • @myyootube2

On the G chord variation you are lowering the minor 3rd (Bb) a half step to become a 2nd (A) and on the F chord variation you are lowering the major 3rd (A) a whole step to the 2nd (G). Those variation chords then are Gsus2 and Fsus2 where the 2nd replaces the third, not G6 and F6 as explained. Just a slip of the tongue I'm sure. That being said, you're lines and rhythms are advanced and gorgeous. Thanks for explaining, I'm subscribed and studying all of it!

@@coreyheuvel It was, without a doubt, your superior understanding of music theory, and your ability to transpose that knowledge and understanding into "regular people but kinda into music speak" so that we have FAR MORE than just a guitar tab based on your interpretation of a particular piece. We have the methodology behind the awesome madness in that solo! You effin rock!
