I am still confused. Historically, Muslims would have been in the minority in those places where Islam expanded. Like Indonesia, or Malaysia, where Muslims were outnumbered by native pagans for hundreds of years. Were those Muslims supposed to make Hijra? That would have meant that those countries would have stayed non Muslim. And let’s be real, how would Islam have ever spread if having minority status and having difficulty practicing your religion ,was a trigger to make Hijra? Someone please explain.
in the past there was one Islamic government whose aim was to maintain an Islamic way of life and also spread Islam to non Islamic countries, so they spread Islam by either making treaties with the kafir rulers to allow them to spread Islam or if they refuse they conquer the country and spread and teach Islam and most importantly introduce shari'a law making the countries Islamic even though the majority were still nonmuslims, this made Islam spread faster after experiencing the justice and honorable lifestyle and also made it impossible for Muslims to be persecuted .but now after the fall of the Islamic government it's everyone for himself, Islam is still spreading even in non Muslim countries like where I live but albeit slowly
When Islam expanded to such places, those lands became dar al Islam, because Islam governed it, so there was no need to make hijrah. Like any other empire, the Islamic khilafah conquered those lands with military might, not with minority Muslims protesting and handing out pamplets. Whats being referred to by classical scholars as mentioned here, is if a non muslim perhaps heard the message of Islam while living in lands where Islamic authority never reached and they accepted it as their faith.

The Kuffar are so confident that you won’t succeed in deen that they allow you to have mosques and madrasa. Their laws of the land envelope those religious organisations who run masjid and the Islamic schools. They are controlling what can be said on Friday hotba and their kuffar curriculum is being forced to be thought under the ‘ Islamic school title’ The overall haram environment of kufar society has a great impact on the hearts of Muslim children causing often irreparable damage. @J-S.I I am freely practicing Islam in America and everybody in my circle knows that I am Muslim my kids are going to Islamic school memorizing Quran with their other regular studies praying 3 prayers in the masjid sometimes 4 show me the contradiction according to hadeet
This is very true. After trying every avenue to practice my deen in Australia I concluded that it was impossible and anyone who tries to tell me otherwise I know immediately they have fallen for the fitna and Allah has removed their guidance.

Very true. Where would one recommend to go? As muslim countries have visa requirements for stay which are not easy to fulfill

Not possible to practice in the ‘Muslim’ countries either. Go call for Sharia, see what happens. Go call for unity, for the khilafa, see what happens
