As a CU alum, that speech gave me chills. Go Prime, Go Buffs
Like im watching the best football movie with the best script , but its even better.
Damn! that pre game speech gave me CHILLS!!!! 🔥🔥💯
Oh my!! Rich that beat Nebraska back to the Homestead Act comment is pure GOLD!!!😂😂
That took me out. And did you notice his body language and tone. He had a vision of that beat down.
I literally fell out my seat,🤣😂🤣
tell me you dont know a single tidbit of NE geography without telling me...
Fun fact: African Americans were not allowed to homestead, while foreign white people were.
@@sueme8170You should try and find some of the locker room speeches he made at JSU.
This was the reaction I've been waiting for all weekend. Rich never disappoints.
100%
As a grown adult I have looked to coach Prime to get my life right because not only has he navigated Fame and Fortune he has navigated competition and strife. Deion Sanders is a national treasure and should be treated as such!
All facts!
Couldn’t say it better
@@HotRocket-jc1qh people have always use others for inspiration to get their lives back on track. Heck that’s even in the Bible sit down you sound stupid.
If he didn’t have the bad leg and foot he would be doing sprints with the kids at practice
Deion for President 2028
"If the Nebraska team that struggled against Minnesota in Week 1 shows up in Colorado this coming Saturday, they will beat Nebraska back to the Homestead Act." YOOOOOOOOOO I FELT THAT SHIZZLE IN MY CHEST LMAO
They gon bust Nebraska a$$
Rich combo of history and brutality 😂
When I heard him say that, I jumped up and locked my front door! He said that with intensity.
that was sho nuff low down, wasnt it lol?
\
What is the point spread.
I told my wife about this game the next morning and I said the big thing I noticed was Deion was not jumping around and smiling at the end of the game. He went about his business like he knew his business. He didn't need to take joy in the outcome, he already knew how it was going to end... He already had the Nebraska game running in his mind.
Definitely ain’t going to be jumping around considering he has trouble standing for extended periods of time.
😂😂 technically both y’all right
Want to hear a joke? . . . . . NEBRASKA football
it's still only game 1. Only idiots flip out about the first game of the season.
True, but Prime was also in a lot of pain. He was still excited about that win. The energy was electric around him, so he didn't want to overdo it with his leg pain
Deion is just a winner. He has so many accomplishments in his life, that other stellar achievements are forgotten like this one. He hatted over 500 in the World Series. 8 hits in 15 at bats, 4 runs scored. Yeah, baseball!
That locker room speech brought tears to my eyes. That is how you create the next greatest generation....So much hope, so much pride. Many acting as one,,,,,
Same. Hundred percent
That was church and the Reverend Deion Sanders preaching. I feel the Spirit ! AMEN WE ARE HERE !!!!
Been a college football fan all my life. This is the most exciting thing I have seen in college football in the last 30 years. I am genuinely curious to watch it
I was all in until the "GOT TO BRING THE RACE CARD" , f off Deion, hope you lose them all now the rest of the way.
Best comment I’ve read

Same here, about time..💯👊🏾
SAME!!!
I love that Rich can give a deeper insight into Prime than almost anyone else. He worked with him for so long that he truly knows him. I think that's the reason Coach Prime is so misunderstood, because people don't truly know him and how he's wired. You have to already see great, before you can pursue greatness. Much respect to Rich Eisen. He's one of the few Ex-ESPN commentators that I truly enjoy watching.
Been waiting since Saturday for Rich to weigh in.
Was not disappointed.

I love Rich! Man I’m soo glad I grew up watching him, Deion, Coach Marucci, Playmaker, Marshall Faulk, Jamie Dukes, Sapp, etc every Sunday night to recap the games. I miss those days. I enjoyed them as much as the games.
Those years where great!
📠Fax ... Great analysis by Rich .... And even though Rich is hopping on the bandwagon, at least he's jumping on early - like the rest of us. 😂
@@SnappingTurtle444 Hell I love Deion and I wasn’t sure but taking Colorado +20.5 was the easiest bet I ever made. I knew they weren’t getting blown out lol.

😂😂
Dang. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Like right 😂

wasn’t it special
First time listening to Rich; I love his perspective, swag and support of Prime.... clearly he's a righteous human! Thank you... new loyal fan
I've met Deion quite a few times. I worked at a restaurant near a NFL team headquarters and he came in all the time. He was one of the nicest football players I have ever met. One time he visited and people kept coming up to his table over and over again during the entire meal... He shook all their hands and was very nice to every single person.
these are the stories that matter to me.
This is why I’m tuning in now for saturdays. This is special
Thanks Rich for pointing out when you said, a part of it is about race, You was the first reporter/broadcaster to tell the truth much respect and that’s just part of it like you said

Prime has succeeded at every level of his career. World Series, Superbowls, why are we surprised. One of my all time favorite athletes.
World Series ?
Yup. Deion has over .500 batting average from hitting with my Bravos in WS of early 90s
I can't say enough how much I love the "I don't care about names" mentality. Our whole society needs to hear, really hear, that. In any vocation, the proof is in what you do in the moment. It doesn't matter school, hometown, neighborhood - what do you DO with the opportunity you get? Keep going, Prime! Flip the script!!
For real. I work with tons of people who went to Harvard, Columbia, Rice, Brown, Stanford, MIT. I went to the University of North Texas. School does NOT matter. If you want to be the best you put in the work. A school won't help you do that

It's hard to hate Deion. He's always been that way, and it's glorious. I never rooted for his teams, but man, he's something.

That game was the best time I've had watching college football since Tim Tebow took the Gators to the National Championship. It was that good. 😉

Felt like a tight NFL playoff game ebbs and flows and no quitting from either side loved it!
As a born and bred Florida Gator, Colorado has the "Light of the Gods" shining on them thanks to Prime.....after his kids graduate, UF needs to offer him buckets of cash and total autonomy to do what he wants......imagine what he would have done with UF...

The Nigerian Nightmare......RB for the Chiefs back in the 90s the size of Derrick Henry

And Coach Prime is doing this the last few year battling major heath challenges!!
FIRST OFF LOVE DEION, ALWAYS HAVE. I AM TRYING TO UNDERSTAND WHY SO MANY PEOPLE ARE SHOCKED THAT HE DID EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO. NOBODY CAN RECRUIT LIKE HIM, NOBODY CAN CONNECT WITH PLAYERS LIKE HIM AND NOBODY CAN GET THE FULL POTENTIAL FROM THEIR PLAYERS LIKE HIM.
Coach Prime was and always is MUST SEE TV!
It doesn't matter if he's coaching Pop Warner, which he did.
He was MUST SEE TV back then, although Television didn't cover Pop Warner Football back then!
Coach Prime brings swagger and knowledge!

I HAVE CHILLS THE RICH EISEN SHOW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I enjoyed watching THANK YOU
Exactly...he is so sincere. He went to Colorado & did the same thing he did art JSU. Consistently 10 toes down!!!
Actually 8 toes down.
Yeahhhhh you walked right into that one
No pun intended?
He completely revived CU's football program in one game, basically.
I live in Nebraska I've been warning everybody about this all summer and everybody laughed in my face,
It’s not bc Colorado is good, Nebraska is still really bad.
@@xandercrews4729It’s so hard to tell with a one game sample. NU and Minn may both have stellar defenses.
This is why lines get more accurate as the season progresses. Then you see who the teams really are.
That pre-game speech had me juiced!!!
Many have learned from CU & TCU game to never ever judge a book by its cover because you never know what people capabilities a person can provide unless there given opportunities. Coach Prime is more than a Football coach. He is a father to his biological sons and to other young males on and off the field after games. Coach Prime not only concerned about the players he cares just as much about their families. Black success according to black history always come with back lashes. Not surprised what Coach Prime accomplished from CU & TCU game. God bless you Mr Eisen a zillion times over. Much respect
You spot on Rich, that clip from the press conference was a gem. I hollered and had my family watch the replay.
Way to go folks. This is the most supportive comment section I've seen concerning Deion. So many others are turned off by his swagger and confidence. They want to see him fail. I've never seen him fail yet. 😂😂😂
they been waiting his entire career LOL
Right. They're full of jealousy & envy that this man can be so talented at such a high level in multiple sports.....while smiling & telling you all about it. Kinda like Ali talkin to boxers/promoters/broadcasters back in the day what would happen before it came to be true.
I’ve been looking forward to Rich’s reaction to the Buffs game from the second it ended; was not disappointed.
Already an amazing job done by Primetime. Not a Buffaloes fan but I'm gonna be watching this year.
A great analysis. RE backs up what coaches at Atlanta, SF and Dallas said about him; behind all the flash and the freakish athletic skills lies the work ethic of an underdog who will never, ever stop trying to find a way to beat you.
Love your take Rich. I'm watching CU every chance I get this season.
Never seen nothing like this. I am as excited about college football this year as I am the NFL and that is a lot said coming from the Kansas City Chiefs fan because Im used to awesome football
That was a hell of a game. One of The best games I've seen in awhile. This team is for real. They can absolutely ball. And his son at QB just dropping dimes, amazing performance by him. I think Nebraska is deep trouble. Because we coming!!!
Damn Rich that’s was a damn good commentary! 🔥
This game had more viewership than the national championship last season. Colorado is must see TV!
The recruiting vortex Deion Sanders is funneling toward CU is going to be immense. I can already sense the onset of panic in coaching circles given Travis Hunter and the energy shift in general. Good luck stealing a defensive back recruit from Deion Sanders - let alone others who want to be a part of his mindset.
They've already tightened up the portal rules and denied some of the JSU players than came with him from playing. This despite already wearing the CU uniform and taking classes. It's a mess
@rafiqtsm1451 And then the 4* Tennessee LB just came & signed. Ncaa vs prime is the new war!
TCU played well both defenses where spent. First college game I have watched 60 minutes in 25-30 years. I'll be watching all season now.
Deion Sanders has done miraculous changes in that program The Colorado Buffalo as far as I'm concerned and I hope he goes all the way.
Love Eisen take, beautiful commentary. So happy he knows Deion personally. Really beautiful show today on a great topic...
Whenever deon started as a commentator he was way better prepared than his coworkers. Like he not only studied everything, he had the delivery to break it down to layman's terms. I think hes why Chris collinsworth started actually doing the job. He used to come in without even watching the games reciting one liners from the teleprompter I'm guessing hungover and high. Collinsworth used exemplify an old jock
😂😂😂
I've been looking forward to this season ever since I've heard Prime was coaching CU! They're gonna be doing big and great things all season long
Travis Hunter's snaps against TCU increase with each passing day. He will have logged 185 snaps come Friday afternoon.
😂😂😂
Deion gonna have Hunter riding the pine during practice or in the hot tub all week. Ain't no way he's gonna let Travis burn himself out. Travis Hunter is wired different though. Dude didn't even look tired in the post game interview.
Facts 😂😅
Truth.@@TheNightOwl11683
😅 So true, it was mythological! He's the chupacabra.
Once he gets a few more D linemen next year he is going to contend if not now. This is a team that love each other and hold each other accountable. I believed since he was at J State.
why am i sitting here crying after hearing coach prime speech ? man id give everything i won to be coached by him for a day . id be more successful in life i believe
Wow. 110° HEAT and CU played and left it all on rhe field. MIRACULOUS performance. SALUTE Coach Prime
That coaching staff and all the support personnel really did their job to keep everyone hydrated and cooled so that everyone can go home safely.
This was the best summary on that Colorado vs TCU game I’ve heard yet.
Wow, Shedeur looks and sounds like he's 30 years old. A man among boys.
He is there because of his sons! His kids are always around him and they are what keep him going everyday!
He only got into coaching to be around his sons. He started coaching them in Pop Warner (little league).
My biggest take away from the game was when Edwards had an unlucky fumble and u see Prime embrace the young man and give him a hug rather than yell at him like most coaches do.
He's known Dylan since he was 4 years old
Edwards is a stud, that stop and go on the last td and the cut back back then just exploding through the defenders earlier to take it yo the house was seriously impressive
Mannnn Mr. Eisen, you have a new fan in me. I GREATLY appreciate you for keeping it all the way real! Great show!
He was talking about Travis if he would of pulled in those two he dropped because of the ground he would have the Heisman in his room
Deion takes the Ali approach, put in the work behind closed doors, and when the door opens and the flood lights come on it’s showtime!
Thats the kinda speech u hear at a super bowl the inderdogs speech thats a speech u say at a home opener in the nfl this sunday that speech was awesome i need to hear the whole version more wow i know its one game ut its the beginning of a new day in boulder a new chance to get another trophy since what 92 or something

This is some really good content, and insight. I have not watched college football in over 20 years and definitely haven't watched any football analysis. You guys do a great job of breaking down the game and telling a little background as well. Extremely entertaining
👏🏾👏👏🏼👏🏻
If Shedeur Sanders can keep playing at a high level, he will be a great pick for any NFL team. This kid is a pass first QB who can run. I’ve enjoyed watching this kid stand in the pocket and throw the ball, and not run as soon as he can’t find an open receiver.
FatFaktz
Trust me. They will imagine something to criticize him for. “His elbows are too pointy” . “He’s not a lunch pail type of guy” . Mark my words
"Give me a wall to run through right now"
lmao great one, TJ
I am gonna call.. how Deion Sanders is coaching is reminding me heavily of Jimmy Johnson and his time with the Hurricanes. The charisma levels are HoF tier! But I see Deion in a completely different category as Jimmy.
That’s an astute observation.
Deion studies like no one else, so I know he took the best from Jimmy and left the rest
I was thinking this last night
You got that right one is a HOF coach and the other has won 1 Division 1 game 😂
@@Hazel.Eyed.Geminime too. I also had a younger level headed Pete Carroll

Positive role model for young men. He was a success before you look at the win. He has more than one reason to be cocky
Rich is the type of friend everybody needs , go Buffs!
Prime is conditioning these kids at altitude. They are gonna be able to run any team off of the field
True. I lived in Panama and would run three miles almost everyday at a 7:00 minute mile pace without trying. When I came back to the states I visited my uncle’s ranch near Corona, NM which is at over 7000’ and it took me two weeks to get back to that pace. Again, you are spot on.
EDIT: I’m convinced the 7220’ altitude in Laramie played a roll in Wyoming’s victory over Texas Tech. I think the Tech line on both sides of the ball felt it.
This is lowkey a big advantage especially rolling into the 4th quarter
@@nmelkhunter1 A TCU player is on the video throwing up on the field last Saturday. The TCU team is bigger and faster, but that CU offense was so fast paced, the TCU team was winded and it made the CU O-line look better than it is. The CU O-line is practicing going fast tempo, AT ALTITUDE.
@@cameron_fairchild Yes, as I said before, I’m very aware of the positive effects of training at altitude. I really think the altitude in Laramie, 7220’, had an effect on the Texas Tech D-line and O-line in their lose to Wyoming. I’ve also hunted mule deer and bighorn sheep at 9500 plus feet after training at 6000 feet and could feel the difference. Altitude can be a huge advantage.
Great comment
deion probably wont ever see this, but i thought he was going to fail and i was completely wrong. i misjudged him as a coach and a person. i'm sorry deion, i hope you go on to continue to dominate in the coaching world and in life. i believe that you can do it

Most disagree, but I've always said if you can fully backup your confidence, then it doesn't crossover to "cockiness". Deion backs up what he says, and I truly believe he's trying to revolutionize how coaching is done. "Leader of men" as Rich put it, is perfect.
It is more than just one game. It was about once again having to prove we are intelligent and disciplined.
“We coming!”
“We here!!!”
Great Talk Rick as always. Go Deion
Deion did my radio show a few times when he was with the Cowboys. The first impression (especially back then) was PRIME. the flash and bling and the street talk. The second impression was of a true professional football player: he KNEW football, and not just his position(s). The third, surprising, impression was of inate intelligence. In the day, Deion masked his intelligence with bravado and jokes...but it was always there. I'm a fan, and always will be, but he had to prove himself to me. Took about 5 minutes. Go Prime, Stampede!!
Their running back had a terrific game.
Apparently their are two other really great players that did not even touch the field on Saturday. RB smoke was one of them. I cannot remember the other player.

@@thesloppyjoesThe other is Alton McCaskill. Look up his rookie season for the U of Houston. Total stud. Smoke also has had a good career running for Kentucky. Deion is a visionary and can't speak any other way. If they win the national championship this year, everyone will be in utter shock and amazement except Deion.
That would be the greatest story of all time for college football.
I would love to see that. But stars woud have to line up twice before that happens.
Even if by chance they go undefeated. Theres a lot of losing would have to take place for them to keep climbing up to even into the playoff pix.
Go buff. Take care of business this sat.
Deion
Please stop dreaming Bro, Colorado want win a National Championship this year, maybe never, but Colorado will be fun to watch. I've been a Deion fan since he played at Florida State University, but I also know Oregon, USC, Utah, are the real contenders for a National Champion. out of the PAC 12. If Colorado can have a winning season, that would be beyond amazement. Soon you will see back to back losses, how will the coaches, players and Colorado's fan base handle that? Try and remember its the losses that can destroy a team, or its coaches. No coach entry the season thinking that at the end they will have a losing season, but they do, and the odds say Colorado will NOT have a winning season let alone win a National Championship. Deion, Colorado football teammates, and the fans have both hands around the Kool-Aid barrel, and soon enough it will fall from their hands, and the only question will be "what do we do now". Truth be told, its the next two years that will tell all of us that really knows college football, if Colorado is going to be a pretender or a contender.
@jerryjohnson3801 You sure put a lot of energy into being negative. Like Deion said to the reporter, " YOU DON'T BELIEVE" !!! LOL.
Heck he didn’t even mention the running back!!!! That kid is nice!
The first half he under threw Travis Hunter and Travis Hunter dropped the diving catch.. he could’ve easily threw for 600 yards and 6 TDs.. in his debut in D1.. 😂
I’ve been waiting for this take!!!! Love Rich!!
Dean Sanders is not doing this for himself. He's not doing this for Colorado. He's not doing it to make a name for himself he already have that. Hes doing this for God and those young men. And trust me, those young men or believers.😂😂😂❤❤❤
