Sorry about the way this video looks! I tried so many times to upload this without it being taken down and finally I was able to keep it up, but unfortunately, the quality of the movie within the video did suffer a bit. Hopefully it doesn't detract too much though as I absolutely LOVED this film. Every second of it was so much fun and Bruce Willis was amazing like always.
Thanks for watching! Have a great day! :)

I love how the camera work is accentuating different characters in this movie. Like the way of filming is projecting each character portrait. Luc Besson is truly a genius.

Zorg choking on the cherry sets up Zorg getting blown up by the Mangalore's bomb. It shows that he overestimates his control of the situation, not even considering that there might be factors he hasn't taken into consideration.

My (hopefully) interesting facts for this film -
    1) The cop waiting at the McDonalds restaurant was played by an actor named Mac McDonald.
    2) Many of the costumes, including Leeloo's bandage outfit were designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier, perhaps most famous for his work on Madonna's pointy bra costume.
    3) The language spoken by Leeloo was created by director Luc Besson. It comprised of around 400 words and the two prenticed it by writing letters to each other. By the end of production, they were both fluent.
    4) According to several sources, Leeloo's full name is Leeloominaï Lekatariba Lamina-Tchaï Ekbat De Sebat.
    5) The bumbling security man was played by Lee Evans, a famous British stand up comedian.

      Here's another one:
Luc Besson met Maiwenn, who played the Diva, when she was 12 and he was 29. He started dating her when she was 15. At age 16, she married him and gave birth to their daughter. And during the course of shooting this movie, when Maiwenn was 20, he hooked up with Milla and dumped Maiwenn.

The director of the film, Luc Besson, is a popular German director, most notable for his film, Leon The Professional, which is definitely worth a reaction.
This was the director’s take on a big budget Hollywood film. He even added multiple references to Star Wars in it, including the female sergeant’s hair styled like Princess Leia.

"Why is the score so good in this movie?" Because Eric Serra, good sir. Eric, freaking, Serra. Fantastic composer and this score is one of those you can just pop in any time you want to enjoy a multifaceted out of this world experience.
"The Fifth Element" might not be for everyone, sure, but boy is it ever a confectionary treat box of some of the best, most imaginative elements from French comics, and you happened to touch on a lot of them here. It's not really even a Bruce Willis movie when you get right down to it. The man is in many ways just along for the ride here and hanging on tight for a lot of the time. Fun ride all the way for those who get into it.

There has been a critical reassessment of this film, in favor of the movie. Most of the time, the critics don't know their (redacted) from a hole in the ground.
Fun Fact: The "Divine Language", spoken by Leeloo, was invented by co-writer and director Luc Besson, and further refined by Milla Jovovich, who had little trouble learning and developing it, as she was already fluent in four languages. The language had only four hundred words. He and Milla Jovovich held conversations, and wrote letters to each other in the language as practice. By the end of filming, they were able to have full conversations in this language.

One of my favorites! Nice job! For another 'similar' movie by the same director Luc Besson, I would suggest Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. It did not do near as well as the Fifth Element, (my guess is from the cast being not as known mostly) but personally I liked it a lot.

I don't think it was the cherry scene that took away from Zorg. Every scene of him afterwards he was not given any menacing acting parts. I think after he unarmed his bomb he could have gone through and done some intense anger and going after the others. Even if just for a short moment, to carry his character through and then get tricked with the second bomb. Like tear up some of the aliens. Not even having to have him confront Corbin. Especially since the writer made it a point in the beginning to show how he was. I'm sure unintentional but he became just a side character.

One of my favorite sci-fi movies from one of my favorite directors, Luc Besson. Also another great soundtrack by Eric Serra, who is also one of my all-time favorite and inspirational composers to me also. Loved his work ever since he did the soundtrack for the GoldenEye 007 movie, and then just listening to more of his collaborations with Luc on the handful of other films they've done over the years, including Leon the Professional and Nikita. The soundtrack here was no exception, though. The video game for the PS1 however, was complete garbage. Which is a shame because, in europe there was a racing game for the PS2 and PC called "New York Race", and that was much better than what we got in the US couple of years before that, and when the film was out in theaters during that time. XD
