This cover is so very well accomplished...of course Dino had much pleasure to be there! Epica adapted it to their style but had much respect for Fear Factory...and that's what covers stand for: showing love for the work of the other bands!
Sorry to hear, I to was a pissed off when I heard that Epica was covering one of my favourite songs, I really like Epica, I get into all styles of metal but metal is metal to me, hate catergories, well back to the question, I seriously didn't think they could pull it of but fuck me, one of the best covers i've ever heard...go Epica, sorry for not having any faith in ya, never again.
Epica's compositional skills surpass FF's by leaps and bounds, but they are not better than Fear Factory, and as far as Replica goes I think Epica's refined style is inappropriate here. Epica payed tribute Fear Factory(cheers), they're incredibly talented, I can appreciate that, I just don't like their music. At all. Simone...Shes got a beautiful voice and style and it's kinda incongruous with the songs emotional content. 'y feel me?
