- BEHOLD my inconsistent art style 🤣
i apologize for the many dialogues and fast music, at first i wanted to make it somewhat like a mini webtoon/animatic, but i got distracted and ended up putting so much dialogue for the story to make sense ☹️
also, i remember saying im making this a webtoon…… then i also remembered i cant draw decent backgrounds 😭😭 once i find a good software to help me draw them, i’ll definitely try making a webtoon 😇

I'm not a native English speaker so I had to translate the lyrics and the story in my head but at the same time didn't want to ruin the song by pausing too much so this was hella difficult to watch 😭 but it was totally worth it

Btw i love the story, this got me hooked right off the bat lemme tell you. Just venting my frustrations that THIS GIRL IS UNKNOWINGLY DANGLING 3 PEOPLE'S HEARTS BY HER FINGERS.
It's a sad reality. Sometimes your crush, who happens to be your best friend, finds and falls in love with someone else. They will only think of you as only a friend and nothing more, but nothing less. I know this from experience and I ended up hurting my best friend to the point he stopped speaking to me and avoided me all together. The best thing you can do is just be supportive, even if it means getting hurt
Dude I feel sooo related, in my case I didn't even told her at the moment bc I didn't realised my feelings about her were DIFFERENT than with the other girls or guys I knew. Now I have seen her (it has been like a year and a half since the last time we talked) and idk how i feel, i mean during this time i have liked other girls but she was the first one... And even if i liked her now i know she sees me as a sister... so yeah it's sad but i will move on soon.

I mean, I also had a one-sided love for my best friend but she kind of told me she would have dated me if I was a boy and I never expected that so... What I’m trying to say is that we actually don’t know what other people feel about us, so I would recommend you to pay attention of what you feel and what you want for yourself. Wanting things and feelings are okay if you don’t hurt that person (most of the time instead of hurting others we end up hurting ourselves). Loving someone is okay, it will never be something bad and talking is your best ally. At least I think maybe (maybe not) you need a proper closure, mine was knowing she is straight, even if I’m still working with it, it’s easier to deal with this feelings if there are not “ifs” in the way. I'm in the same boat. I like my best friend as more than a friend....but they're in love with someone else. We both want different things in life so, like, I know in my head it's better that were just friends. I"m trying to move on....still though. I die a little inside everytime they bring up with SO.
Summary:
(I’ll be adding some details not shown in the animatic)
Owen and his mom go to their hometown to visit his grandma during the summer. There, he meets Ollie and befriends him. (Owen never figured out that Ollie was a boy) They spend their summer together, but eventually, Owen has to go back home to the city. Ollie’s sister takes one last photo of them together. They say their goodbyes and promise to meet each other again next summer, but sadly, Owen’s parents divorced and his dad took custody of him, resulting him to stay in the city for 6 years. As time passed, they eventually met new friends and forgot about each other.
In 2015, Owen move in with his mom, who now lives with his grandma on his hometown. He decided to continue his studies there and transfer as a high school junior. During his first week in school, he gets scouted by the football team captain, gets assigned to replace the student council treasurer AND takes Oliver’s title of “top-notch student” in their grade. This causes Oliver to have a slight irritation with Owen, which in turn, Owen finds rather amusing. All throughout their days in school, Owen tends to enjoy messing with Oliver as he finds his reactions very cute.
One Saturday night, Owen encounters Oliver inside a cinema and notices that he, again, is having a jealous fit because of Jolene. Owen is aware of his feelings and constant agony, so he decides to help him have a good time and takes him to an arcade. They leave and get caught in the rain, so Oliver suggests that they head over to his house where it’s the nearest.
In the house, Owen notices a picture with him in it and a familiar face from his childhood. He eventually realized that the “girl” he had a crush on was Oliver, which left him in a panic and tried to storm out and away from Oliver. Oliver asks him what’s wrong and as Owen was about to reveal he was that chubby kid with glasses who had a crush on him, Jolene appears. End scene
Next animatic will be about Jolene and her very complicated story! XD
A little theory that I did (please don't hate me :'D)
Jolene saw Johanna with another girl, and as Jolene hid a love for Johanna, she was saddened to "lose" her love
