The old beach ball probably sold to a movie or show set. I know I sold a lot of weird stuff to the show Stranger Things because the show was set for the 1980s. They have the budget to pay up for things lol.
So the vinyl that the older beach balls and such are made of is greatly sought after by the Cosplay community for making costumes. They don't make them with this type of material anymore. Hope that helps and thanks for the shoutout my friend ❤️🔥👩🌾
Oh cool! Of course you would know😊How did you ever find that out? I tried looking it up and found zero answers 😂 I absolutely love that picture of us, cracks me up every time I see it
@MindfulRecycle well Teri, if I tell you everything, then I would have no answers when you need them. I try to keep tabs on the fads and GUUURL, That photo is epic 😱 But so are you 😉😘❤️🔥👩🌾
Great finds and sales. I've had some good bibles lately. A couple $80+ a $75 and a $90 that probably would have gone for more if I woild be more patient. But i got it for less than a buck and sometimes i want to keep it moving in the store
What is the title of the #1 Harry Potter book that you need? Did you ever find it? I have a few of them that my granddaughter has read through! I am trying to declutter my home and enjoy watching your videos as it helps me know what to list and what to let go of! Thank You!
Greenlee Tool: Greenlee has been making great Electrician’s tools for some time and are well thought of still. That particular tool is for cutting holes in power panels and other metal boxes to add additional entries for wires and/or conduit pipe. Now they have faster working tools that use power assist methods, but if you only need to punch a few holes that style tool is hard to beat.
Boatswain Navy Book: saw it and wanted to comment. A boatswain, actually pronounced: BOH-sən, is one of the Deck Ratings (their job category) on a ship. Often it gets shortened and pronounced as: bo's'n, bos'n, or bosun. As a division the handle equipment like mooring lines, anchors, rigging and the ship’s small boats. The 3 &. 2 book refers to junior petty officers (E-4 and E-5) studying that skill set. The companion book is the 1st and chief book (E-6 and E-7).
@@MindfulRecycle Not a common word and it is pronounced nothing like it is spelled. So, unless you happen to have a past (or present) around ships, especially Navy Ships. I did 20 years in, when I was younger.
Thanks for the great video!
Thank you for watching Amy
Cosplay is a great word to use in your title for the vintage vinyl balls, and other water play vinyl items
Hi Lori, yes I just found out, and what a great idea to put it in my title, thank you. 😊

Good call. We should try to figure out what else is made with that specific plastic and target the cosplayers!
@@ToyAddict ohhh, the genius of the three of us is astounding 😳😱❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥👩🌾

Was the buyer of the casino tokens in Las Vegas? 😮😅😅
Actually, in San Luis Obispo, California
Great sales as usual!
Great video. I love vintage books.
Me too, do you find vintage books too?
You always find the most amazing things! Always great selling books!!! thank you for sharing💕💕💕
Thank you momma Beth! I love selling the books 📖
Great idea to lot up books in a series, my fav is Agatha Christie mysteries vintage paperbacks.
I need to get into selling more paperback series because they can be worth some really good money
Great video. Thanks for sharing the not so great profit stuff as well as the good stuff.
Yes, the not so good items that I pick up need to be shared 😁
Nice sales! I think the vintage beach balls etc get used for making costumes/ cosplay.
Yes Mary, that’s what Noel just said too, you two are so smart 😁

Janice, that is so sweet, but I don’t want you to go through any hassle to send it. It is called Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone.

Oh sweet! Thanks for the information on this, I wasn’t quite sure what it was used for😁
@@MindfulRecycle Yes, I have used them a few times and just happened to list a newer model, for 1" holes, this morning. It was also a Greenlee.

Yep, that’s me messing up the pronunciation 😂
Susie corrected me in the comments too. How embarrassing lol
Thanks again for the info 😊

Thank you for all the great information. I like reselling books also. I was curious if you would sell older books if they have a musty / moldy smell?
I do sell books with a musty smell, it’s usually unavoidable when they’re 100+ years old, so far, I have not had anyone mention it or return it.
Boatswain is pronounced bo’sun
Thank you Susan! Sure is an awfully weird way to spell it 😂
I wonder if the beach balls and slides are used as props in theater or television shows. Or toy collectors buy them for displaying.
Two different people replied, saying that they are used for making cosplay costumes
