Selene is moon in Greek. 6.23 is June 23 2013. There was a Supermoon on that date where the distance of the moon and earth were closer than usual. The alternate name of this song is the Distance Between Us. It is dedicated to international shawols because we are separated by distance. Lyrics by Jonghyun and the instrumental by pianist Yiruma.

Shawols are one of the luckiest fans. We have countless songs written and sung by our boys which were dedicated to us in almost every albums (group and solo). I mean, they are the presidents of Shinee World for a reason. Their ballads just hits you different don’t they, urghh I just can get enough and yeayyyy looking forward to their beyond live concert!!
"Selene 6.23 " is another one of the dozens of songs that was written by Jonghyun and it has now become a song that the members often sing as a tribute to him. It's songs like this that demonstrates just how good Jonghyun was as a songwriter and why SHINee are some of the best in the industry when it comes to vocals. :D
As others have mentioned, Selene means moon in Greek and 6.23 (2013) was when we had a supermoon, which means the moon was really close to the Earth that day, making it appear extra big and bright. If you read the English translation of the lyrics, you will see the song has a lot of deep meaning. Jonghyun really loved the moon. He saw a lot of beauty and symbolism in the moon and often talking about the moon in interviews and conversations. Jonghyun said he wrote the song thinking about how the distance between the Moon and Earth was similar to the distance between SHINee and their fans all over the world. The alternate title of the song is "The Distance Between Us," which has now taken on even more meaning since his passing. It was even said that the moon turned a pearl aqua color -- SHINee's fan color -- the day of Jonghyun's funeral. And fans took comfort in the fact that this meant that his spirit had made it to Heaven and that he was now at peace.

Yes you're right Minho is underrated as a singer and dancer. Most people only see him as the idol with good looks and great body, and I think that's because shinee is a group of very talented people that's why he always comes last in the ranking as SINGER & DANCER. Some even said that he can't sing (those people who only know of singing as hitting high notes) lol

ps: minho is totally underrated! I think he's quite popular in the general public + has high visibility that way esp with his acting (that can lure in new fans), but within the group his vocals don't get enough love.

I just wanna tell you, this song concert version is available on Spotify and Itunes. Actually after SHINee is done singing, shawol sings together the chorus but this video end before that.

Oh you are going to the concert that is great. I heard a translated Melon Station radio show of Key and Onew and Onew said that Don't Call me was going to be a long song, and they wish to perform it someday and hopefully its April4th! Also they said that the album was going to have 11 tracks originally but they didn't finish them yet, so they most likely will be in the album in april. Also I am 100% sure they will perform a new song. They have done so for past SW concerts.

Colors of the Season is a masterpiece. It gives me goosebumps!! Especially the one in the From Now On concert where all the shawols stood up and an image of a full moon is on the big screen while they sing 😭

this is not for international fans. this is just love song. but when fans listened it, they felt sad. bcuz it was like their story. Jjong said "this is just love song. dont be sad when you listen this song. cuz our distance is 0." dont spread wrong information. Jjong told like that in shinee concert and i heard it my own ears. i was there.
You are correct that he said that to Korean fans, but he also spoke to fans when they did the tour in North America for SWC5 and told them that the song was for them because we international fans are separated from them. The meaning can roll both ways, don’t try and take things from international fans just because you heard one version of a bigger story.
