Praying for protection in the path of the storm coming up from Florida. especially where you live. Amen.
Just beautiful painting 🖼️ ✨😀🥰 stamping is pretty too!
If you have a misty. You can warm up the stamp. Remove it from the block and then it’s easier to double stamp
I’m glad you may continue this for October so I can try to carve out some time to play. This is a really fun idea!
I really like anything "retro"! ...wondering if Workable Fixative spray would seal the images that you did with the non arrival ink and prevent smearing? ..new subscriber😀. Have a lovely weekend
I have those cute shoe stamps too & love them! I’ve seen some on TH-cam spray their ink pads with water to re moisten them but I’ve never tried it. I do use re inkers though & have had some Stazon pads stay in great condition for many, many yrs that way. The Stazon & Archival inks will stain stamps but not come off on other projects, they stain because they’re permanent inks. The round stamps leave the mark because it was rocked slightly as you stamped it, I usually cut away that extra rubber since it’s not needed anyway so I don’t have to worry about being so steady but I know some crafters don’t like to do that.
I clean my stamps with baby whip's, and that seems to work ok. I did not know the cleaning process though I feel silly for not knowing that. 😅 Thanks for sharing that information.
I'm sure you already know this, but what about using some clear embossing powder with that little stamp pad, then it will be dry as quick as you want, and after it won't smudge! Just a thought, hugs xxxxx
I do have an embossing ink pad, but no clear powder. I may have to invest! Thanks for the tip!
@@ChasingRetro You're most welcome, it was just a thought, it's what I would do in your situation!! xx🐕
Love all of the peach! This journal will be lovely. Praying for you guys and ALL that are in the path. God Bless!🙏🏻🌸
I don’t clean my stamps anymore, talking about the archival ink and inks like it. They do fine with any color ink after it as long as they are dry.
Pretty corner stamps! I enjoy stamping and coloring the image💜
Prayers that everyone in the path of the storm stays safe. Beautiful stamping. Loved the ideas ❤🙏🏻
Love it!
Hi Meg! First of all it just dawned on me that while I didn’t name them as such all the videos I’ve filmed or posted so far in this challenge has been using stamps in some way! Obviously I didn’t name them that but I say that to say I don’t think I use them that often but I do!! Ok! So first of all don’t stress about the inks staining your blocks! Mine stay stained but even Tim Holtz says the grungier they look most likely the better they are! I would totally recommend getting either versa fine or archival brand and they’ll immediately dry and won’t be such a hassle for ya!! Before you throw out your cheaper inks toss them in with water and a tray and dye some paper with them!! They’re wonderful for that!! And lastly grab you a clear bowl (like a food storage type bowl and use it for your stamp pad! Glass items work just fine! And for real lastly it’s Abandoned coral!! lol didn’t you hear me yelling? 😂 have a good week Meg!
@@jensjunk5688 ha ha - thanks Jenny!
Love the corner/tuck spot stamp.❤
So pretty!
Nice stash! I think you’re referring to inkadinkado? Stamping in a circular pattern like a mandala…. I have stamps (leaves, flowers) from them and recently found the whole set at in a box at a thrift store lol. Time to bust it out. Tfs!
@@rkug777 yes, that’s it! :) Thanks for watching!
