The Heli part was certainly a challenge. I know people often build this sort of rocket to see how long they can make it stay up. I am just happy it worked 🤣
My hat is off to you Sir! That is an impressive build. I took the easy way out and bought an Estes Flip Flyer (also a helicopter recovery). The blades and motor mount are all plastic. Very little gluing required. Congratulations!
@@RCNRocketChief Like the heli kit, keep it light weight! Watch center of gravity too, if the motor kicks out completely, it becomes too nose heavy and becomes a lawn dart. If the motor shifts back, it can be to nose light which then spin flutters.
Nice - That looked like a complicated build Rocket Chief !

Thank you. This flight is not up to other levels I have seen with this kit, but I am proud that it worked.
Smart idea
A tough build but worth it
About like the swing wing kit from 1986 in complexity. On ejection charge, the main wing swung 90°. It was a high speed glider as to be expected.
Cool! I have something like that near the bottom of my "to build" pile. I will move it closer to the top!
