I don't even like Batman, but I love this! THINGS THAT DO THINGS. LEGO needs to do more sets like this. This is the kinda thing that would have me saving money for a year to get as a kid. Also I miss LEGO Agents. Used to be my favorite LEGO theme.
I remember the first agents truck I got it for Christmas when I was like 6 lost half the pieces almost immediately when I was "helping" my big brother help me and proceeded to keep all the mini figures until I was 12 and traded them for Jack sparrow batman gollum and a four armed skeleton that I sadly lost 3 days later rip mutent skeleton guy
Honestly, I could imagine this thing driving up to a boat ramp, deploying the jetski with like robin or somebody on it, then launching that flyer over the cab into the water where it works as a submarine.
No Lego mobile base has ever come close to the Agents truck from 2008. The vehicles, action features, use of space and overall look of that set were all great. I'm so glad my parents got it for me back then.
The first cape is probably in reference to when Batman stands on a gargoyle or something, and his cape is flapping around in the wind. The second is his gliding cape . And all of the figures are based on their appearance in DC Rebirth.
I thought this will be 140 euros. Even 90 is too much for a plastic toy. At least they crammed in some play value in this not like the usual huge bland builds without anything to do then you have to buy another 200 euro set just to make this one playable or interesting enough. That's why I mostly hate LEGO, their designs are too dated and alternatives are cheaper and have better designs. Later they make excuses how those are knockoffs etc but hey at least they do what you fail to deliver and even more. LEGO suits never learn.
honestly im just really sad that Lego stopped doing those awesome JL sets and just went back to doing batman sets 🙄 That wave of JL sets with the Luthor mech and stuff had some incredible figs of characters I never thought I'd see in Lego and now it's just 5 batmen and all of his supporting cast over and over again, such a disappointment
They keep pulling from the latest comics and then just throwing a bunch of absurd vehicles in. I would much prefer if they went back to some of the older movies and shows and based them stylistically off that, because Grey suit batman with bat family in bat vehicle against unknown villain is getting tiring. But when we do get something based off that it's usually an absurdly expensive UCS set or a Comic con exclusive. If star wars is able to get playsets and vehicles from scenes going back 40 years, why not for other themes? And if they're worried about if they're still profitable, just ask a kid to draw batman, it'll be black suit, yellow logo. Because they've been brought up by the 89 batman by their parents, and the general media use of the batman logo which is ON THE BOX, and then you look at the figure and it's just some generic grey design

They've already done his 1989 film design to death. And sorry, but DC make comics first and foremost, not films. Hence the sets are based off comic continuity. The comparison to Star Wars is stupid. And no, I don't think most kids are brought up by the 1989 film anymore nor do I think the black and yellow costume is what they're going to think of first.
I'm not a big fan of this vehicle but I really want these Minifigures. Especially the capes for Batman are super cool... I hope that they come in a smaller set 😕
The Batman minifigure is his DC Rebirth outfit (2016-2018). Same goes for Nightwing, except that he hasn't changed his costume since 2016. The Batgirl minifigure is her most recent costume (2018-2020).
Given that it’s rebirth Nightwing, it’s missing some possible blue on the legs and the arms. I love that Batgirl figure since it’s the Sean Murphy redesign. It’s the main reason I’m getting the set.
The flyer feels a little tacked-on; it doesn't look like it was meant to be a flier at all. Oh well, at least it's better than the one on Axel's rolling arsenal from Nexo Knights.
That cockpit-piece on the trailer-flyer-thing kind of reminds me of the main cockpit for the B-36 Peacemaker, just a little smaller. Here's hoping LEGO eventually makes some more good-quality aircraft (specifically smaller fighter/fighter-bomber styled ones)
Personally, I love this set, couldn't wait to get it yday! Got double points too, free keyring and an Emmet polybag with a discount code, so pretty made up! For any Batman collector, this is a perfect set, with all those little vehicles, I'd say its like something Batman would create!
What a play set! One aircraft, a water vehicle, and three land vehicles, a base with three heroes and three villains. This can all hide in a truck and trailer. A vehicle inside a vehicle towing a base of operations that has two vehicles, one of which holds another vehicle. You can get better for $50 if it isn't lego but strictly sticking to Lego's standards, this is great.
I think this set, along with last years Bat-mech suit is inspired by Scott Snyder's "Superheavy" Batman story from the comics. This vehichle looks a lot like Gordon's Batmobile... the Mech-suit looks a lot like "Rookie" (Gordon's side-kick). Great comic.
I'm glad to know I wasn't just crazy in thinking the design and features seemed awfully familiar. Though side note, The mobile command center for agents is still one of my favorite sets and was for awhile the largest and most expensive set I owned.

OK so this truck almost definitely is a resprayed lego agents truck from my childhood 14 years ago I haven't watched the video yet but its so similar Edit yeah basically the same trailer has a flyer and everything 😂
I don't think we ever had a Bat semi-truck for Batman before, this looks quite cool, especially all those detachable vehicles, that Bat Jet doesn't look anything specific really, it's too strange for my taste, I guess you could have made the entire trailer into a mobile base instead of adding that jet, or another place to launch one of the smaller vehicles, love that Bat-Cycle! On a side note, my own TRUs are starting to have empty Lego shelves, they are in desperate need of new Lego sets for sure! Cool review, Jang!
i like the idea, the minifigs are great and the interior of the command center is nice, but i feel the overall execution feels kinda lacking on this. I do LOVE how the trailer works, I hope that eventually works it's way down into the city sets. the 90's style bigrig trailer system was much better then the hodgepodge of attachment styles they use now...
I look at the truck cab and all I can think is that if you remove the jet ski it would have been so easy to make it convert by pulling the front wheels and tanks forward, dropping down the cabin and ending up with an extra batmobile.
This set is the definition of "but wait there's more!"
At this point I think LEGO just puts the coffee cup in every set as a joke.

Batman's and Nightwin's suits are the first ones their wear in DC Rebrith while Batgirl's suit is the second suit she wears in Rebrith.
