It seems appropriate to upload a song about the Bethlehem Star on this day.
2020 was a difficult year for much of mankind. We experienced devastating heat waves and wildfires, hurricanes and tornadoes, earthquakes, and swarms of invasive insect species. Rioting, hoarding, lockdown, and a global pandemic altered the lives of nearly every single person on this earth.
However, as 2020 was wrapping up, right at the apex of the darkest days, just before the celebration of our Savior's arrival, a sign appeared in the heavens. A cosmic combination of heavenly bodies creating the brightest star seen in centuries replaced the setting sun low in the southwestern sky.
For some of us, this wonderful sight in the Heavens was a reminder that our loving Heavenly Father is still watching over all things happening on this earth. And if we seek Him as the wise men did 2000 years ago, we need not fear. He will guide us still.
