Wonderful! Yes the acrylic mirrors are awesome for so many things! We've played with them outside with natural items. Love how light they are and can be taped to the wall.
Hello Anne, thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video, what was your favourite part? Here is the link for the recipe for the no cook play-dough I use. They suggest 2 drops of food colouring, but I've found for a vibrant colour many, many drops are needed. Like 10! www.bestrecipes.com.au/recipes/no-cook-playdough-recipe/v7a0hvfx
I just got into reggio inspired loose parts for my 22mo and this video is a great introduction to loose parts that are very versatile and open ended. I love that a lot of your videos can be applicable to really young ones like my son. Will your course be good for 22mo? Another quick question, do you find it hard to wash or clean food colors? I heard that food coloring stains can be a bit tricky to wash out. Thank you very much 😊
We use Reggio inspire outdoor based homeschooling for my kids-I love these! May I ask where you get your wooden containers for holding the loose parts, as well as how you got the letters on the wood cookies to be so perfect? I have the same ones we made but I drew them on with sharpie, and they are lovely but not perfect like these!
A lot of the containers I use are either from charity shops, can be cutlery or office organizer containers, sometimes the toy brand Melissa and Doug wooden boxes that had puzzles and other items. The wood cookies, I used letter stickers from a craft store and then put a good layer of Modge Podge on them. It dries clear and is pretty durable! The Reggio Emilia Approach is so beautiful. There is a getting started with the approach video as well and more Reggio inspired videos and blogs too! If you have any questions or would like to see a video on a topic, let me know!
Great ideas! Going to look for the acrylic mirror
