battling with this at the moment with my huge begonia, so sad. I've taken off all the bad ones and have actually separated out some stems that a non infected. It seems to happen in winter for me and sunlight helps deal with the initial issue, but then this time I didn't get on it fast enough - fungicide will be the only option I think :(

Oh gosh…. I watched your video because this morning I have looked at my poor begonia maculata and he is suffering 😢. I am going to have to chop off most of his leaves… do you think that will be ok? Am off to the big green and red hardware shop for some spray this afternoon. Thanks for your great video 💛

Hi Connie :) I use the osmocote premium potting mix (blue bag) from Bunnings! But I also mix it with the osmocote orchid mix, perlite, and charcoal 😃
Is there a US version of this product? Do I just look for general fungicide? Thanks.

My more fuzzy begonias have suffered from the fungus as well, would you recommend spraying the leaves of those as well?
I would probably spray them on it. It may damage the leaves but powdery mildew may kill it anyway 😢
Hi ange! Begonias doesn't like their foliage to get wet, if i spray it with the fungicide do i need to wipe it off?🤔
I let it dry off in an airy place 😃

I keep it on the leaves but avoiding harsh light :)
I read that powdery mildew thrive on low humidity and not high humidity... Hmmm
Oh that’s interesting! Most of my research said high humidity helped mildew and mould. But I could definitely be wrong 💕
I also got powdery mildew this summer when it was scorching hot and dry 😩
