I think the video would be more helpful the the person installing the egg could talk throughout the process and provide tips along the way. Having the music does not add value to the video
My dealer assembled and delivered it 3 1/2 years ago. Now the lid and base are 1 inch off. The lid is now one inch back and it’s cause the rear of the felt seal to tear in half. How do you correct for an obviously bad hinge?

I am having trouble securing the top part of the dome into the brackets. Any suggestions
Greg LaCour Lift the flat steel part up. It will stay in place so then you can put the dome on top of the bottom and secure the band around it.
Terry - you are completely right. The music is annoying and color commentary would have made this process much better.

I wish I watched this before I put mine together. made it seem so easy. it was compared to a propane grill. I hope I didn't mess mine up.

How much torque do you use when tightening rings? There is no guide or statement regarding this in assembly instructions.
