People give Tenko flack for how she's written in DRS, but I honestly think she isn't anywhere near as bad as people say. She's about the same as she is in V3. She just changes in different ways because she's not forced to learn the error of her ways as fast when she's not in a killing game. Her encounter with Nekomaru was a learning experience for her, realizing not all males are bad, and she isn't entirely irrational, because when she senses how upset Masaru gets at Tenko threatening to spank him, she softens up on him and eases up. Heck, she changes MORE in DRS than she does in V3. So what the heck is the fanbase's problem, saying they made her one-dimensional here? She obviously still has moments where she's annoying and harsh, like when she harasses Mondo while he's with Chihiro, but when she finds out her Master is male, she decides to consult Makoto, Impostor, and Kirumi for help to try to treat guys better. It's obviously gonna be a slow, painful, and gradual process for her, since she doesn't change easily, but she's clearly trying. The fanbase is way too toxic sometimes. I heard about how much people were raging over her events, and it's fine to not like them, and it's fine to not like Tenko! Opinions are opinions. But claiming she was badly-written and made shallow in DRS, and acting like her V3 self is somehow way better makes no sense to me. She's the same in DRS. Her character arc and moments of change just clearly aren't as dramatic as they were in V3 because she didn't have to see people dying left and right, and doesn't have to fear for her life here.
