Find my spots, solid bags, small milky malt wafter on 3" soft hooklink, fill bag a third insect meal, a third crayfish pellet, and a third SLK liquid. Spomb the same over the top. Happy Days, works a treat for me 👍
Cracking film guy’s, I fish a water that has recently switched to a pellet and boilie only water, I’m out fishing this weekend so I will be copying vinnys mix, probably fish with mesh bags over the top.
Great watch my choice would of been bag using minimix pellet with a dusting of crayfish meal and crayfish liquid then spodded over the top with a mix both on clear spot 🎣🎣
Great video to watch! I would have picked Vinnies Pellet Box but would of still liked to of put the Mini Mix Pellets in a bag. The combo of the maxi mix spread around the spot but with the mini mix in a bag for me has worked on countless occasions this year. Maybe putting more food signals out with the bait soak and meal smashed over the pellets could of drawn them in more!
Good insight into the 2 different methods and good to see Ric doing his stuff in front of the cameras again, but you need to get a new landing net mate. Solid bags for me, trimmed down pop up on a german rig with mini mix and insect meal with a small amount of liquid food injected into the bag just before casting. Looking forward to the next one.
Going into spring, I'd be looking at fishing bags in shallow spots. I know how weedy manor farm can get so bags will protect my hookbait as it settles for good presentation. Hitting the same spot with my boat/clipping up, and recasting if I get indications to supply fresh bait, to build my swim and draw the fish into the location I want to catch them on.
Great video , I’d have chosen vinnys box…. Coated couple kilo of maxi pellet with crayfish bait soak , dusted it with crayfish meal and let it stand for a while. Catapulted 1/4 of that in 3-4 wraps tight area. ( save some for rebaiting after takes lol ) On the rod would be a dark Wafter with a mixed pellet mesh bag with a drizzle of bait soak ,cast amongst the loose feed …. Sit back and wait for the take👍👍😂….. best of luck folks
It's our boi Ricardo!!! 1 of ur best vids yet bro... banging, boxes we're on ur sides!! Can't go wrong with an inline lead and bag... great content in and around the business end, vid kept me engaged... tight lines lads!!🎣🎣🎣🐳🐳😎😎👊
I would use a method feeder for the crayfish mini mix using hot water to make them stick with a wafter on the hook as the method is a very forgotten tactic but can be used to great affect with big carp. The maxi mix I would use to spod over the top just to creat the spot and use the bait as my feature in the lake. As pellet dissolve I would keep topping up with the maxi either every hour or after every bite and refreshing the method feeder every couple of hours.
Bag's all the way filled with either bait as both are very effective now day's on a pond or canal and for hook bait boilie or wafter both are just as effective method now days. 👍
Entertaining watch and i think younguys did well with having to stick to the tactics you had and unable to change to suit the situations that presented themselves
I'd be fishing single bags in isolated locations where I've seen signs of fish or look like holding fish I'd have a variety of pellet sizes in a single bag with a small bit of crush match the hatch boilie and some high attraction liquid and a small bit of groundbait to help keep the liquid flavour in the area
Firstly great video. As for PVA bags for myself I would of used a good mix of various size pellets, presoaked in a pva friendly glugg. A simple bug pop up trimmed down. Covering the outside in the same pva friendly glug.
Brilliant film lads. I was on damsels with a couple off mates at the end off May and I was actually using the mini kray mix pellets on solid bags. It done me 4 fish biggest being 21lb but great action
Solid bags for me, always with me and an absolute go to! The crayfish mini mix with a supple german rig with a half tone wafter is a winner. A chuck at a show is ofter all it takes! 👌
brilliant show, Both chosen baits were able to be fished in a similar way with the amounts of pellets available an advantage. would have been good to see a boilie only approach v pellets. Pellets trickled in the margins for a stalking comparison would have been interesting. cheers👍
I’m not really a serious carper, more a float rod and centrepin man but very interesting to see how you guys approach it. I would definitely err towards the pellets as it is something i know about than pva bags. Tight lines.
Out of the "Pellet Bundle" i would have ledt 1/2 kg as wholes, then crushed/dusted 1/2 kg, add some liquid, then spodded as a slighlty sloppy mix, with 1 rod on a Zig then 1 rod on the Deck with a wafter, Backleaded to be out the way of the Zig 🎣🎣👍👍
A bit of an imbalance between the amounts of bait available, but I’d have gone with the bag approach and would have used a similar approach as in the video. A mix including the insect meal has really worked well for me.
Very cool video guys really enjoyed that! So much so I've just gone and bought some Maxi Pellet an cray wafters to have a go next time I'm out! 😄It's hard to see if I woulda done anything different really? A zig may have been worth a try during the hot afternoon when the fish were up in the water but with the cards you were dealt can't fault you guys at all!
Soak up the crayfish pellets in bait soak with a coating of crayfish meal over the top 😁 fished with fluro d rig with crayfish wafter 👌 but defo cant go wrong with pva bags injected with abit of attraction tight lines 🎣
Great vlog lads smashed it, Well done on the last 2 fish Great decision to go with them boxes you both fished well Would of fished pretty similar wafter over the insect meal in a bag and a zig Well done lads Great rig choice as well Look forward to seeing the next vlog 👏👏👏
Great content guys, as for the pellet mix my approach would have been to mix all 10 kg with some liquid feed and some cray fish meal and filled it in and fished two rods on the spot and as for the bags I would have just done the same method tbh 👌
Bag approach for me. Milky malt wafter with lashings of the booster, on a blowback rig inside a solid bag full of crayfish mini mix and insect meal. Injection of SLK liquid if I felt there wasn’t enough attraction as is 👌🏻
Congratulations! You have been selected as the winner of a PVA Bag Bundle. Please email info@dnabaits.com with your name, mobile number and address and we'll get your prize sent out ASAP. Thanks for entering.
I never understood the method of where you see the fish jump out of the water and you go cast to it 😂😂😂wouldn’t the lead just scare the shit out of it.
Fantastic video to watch I would use PVA Bags of pellets crayfish meal for me
Great video lads - as you had pop ups I would probably tried a zig when they were in the upper layers
Fantastic to watch I would use Crayfish meal for me I would use pva bags
Solid bags with crayfish mini mix along with a milky malt wafter or slk wafter. Then inject with a mix of hemp oil and betastim

Great watch Vin 🎣🐋
Nice watch guys for me I’ve always got solid bags with me and they always good for a bite keep up the good work 👍🏻

Thanks Ray. Got battered by another grass carp the other week. Bloody things are savage 😂

Cracking vid, can’t go wrong with bags, usable in most situations, I never fish without them.

Fantastic video loved it but don't where white socks is not good green or black 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
No spods. Margin fishing pellets few hook bait samples stealth mode always. tiny boost one at a time spray, boost or liquid. 👌🤞

6 months ago and an no answer
CRacking video myself am a boilie user. Great angling from both

Fab video just wondered how do I enter the comp or have I missed something I use DNA baits and the crayfish mini mix pellets cheers
Just read the information in the caption 👍🏻

Much appreciated, Trev 👌
Pellets coated in liquid and then coated in the meal.....small bag with pop up and spod the rest.....simples.....tight lines and good luck
Soak up the crayfish pellets in bait soak with a coating of crayfish meal over the top 😁 fished with fluro d rig with crayfish wafter 👌 but defo cant go wrong with pva bags injected with abit of attraction tight lines 🎣
Wafter over a handfull of maxi mix at 1 wrap
Great vlog lads smashed it, Well done on the last 2 fish
Great decision to go with them boxes you both fished well
Would of fished pretty similar wafter over the insect meal in a bag and a zig
Well done lads Great rig choice as well
Look forward to seeing the next vlog 👏👏👏

Do you fancy trying to fish the Kent waters
Rather than scolding the pellets, just add a dash of hydro spod syrup to help bind them
I'm fishing crayfishi mini-mix & bug wafter 👊🎣 qaulity watch guys onto the adventure tightlines look forward to the next vid 👊🎣😎
Thanks a lot, mate!
I would of taken the solid bag box with solids on all rods then turn the mix into golf ball sized pva mesh balls to add extra baiting to spots
Not going lie I wouldn’t know how to use them in here as a new angler to find the best baits to use
I never understood the method of where you see the fish jump out of the water and you go cast to it 😂😂😂wouldn’t the lead just scare the shit out of it.
