After LAX and SFO, YVR is the biggest and diverse Trans-Pacific border of long haul flights in North America on the West Coast to Asia (Far East, Southeast Asia) and Oceania. In a recently past when Canada had three big international airlines (AC, CP and WD) and the division of the routes, CP was the main and only to serve the region of Asia crossing the Pacific and the headquarters was in YVR. Recently I read that SQ is to comeback to YVR (and start SEA). Before the Covid, during the high season, KE and LH with the 748 and BA with the 388, deployed these aircraft to YVR.
In the past couple of years (since covid), I have noticed that so many planes take off and land with loads of window shades down. Look at the AC A220 at 27:18. Its dd, because every flight I have ever been on, the cabin crew are militant about making sure all window shades are open for landing in particular. Has anyone got a reason for this? It must be so dark inside.
Even though BA might not be the perfect airline, although I've flown long haul with them a lot and NEVER had any problems, the pilots who work for the airline are absolutely phenomenal and there's proof of this amongst the take offs and landings in this video. At 45:00 minutes on the clock, the 777-200 ER landing is absolutely flawless, no bang, no tyre smoke, no skidding sound..... nothing!!! Just an absolute text book touch down.

Absolutely beautiful 😍 ❤
So you also with ATC. That's the topping. Like a sweet sour sauce added to prawns. Surprised to see KLM's A 330-300 there.
Amazing video:) Thank you!
Very nice video mate. Love it. British Airways was nice
Airplane landing in rain is very beautiful and amazing 🤩👍🏻👍🏻 .
I have a question please:
why dose the Korean Airline put the Pepsi logo ??
Estão sumidos, gostamos muitos dos vídeos de viagens com aquela caminhada de vocês nos aeroportos.
Try going to mainland Africa. Maybe Johannesburg. You'll see the most exotic planes even flight radar can't track
South Africa is in my bucket list for the future
nice video
De très beaux atterrissages !
Nice one
Cool Vidéo!!!

Je ne suis pas sûr de l'espèce
Probablement un faucon crécerelle, mais pas certain

@@Razgriz-Flight-Spotting Vraiment dommage. J en suis franchement attristé...
Is all of the zoomed-in footage from the iPhone 12 or is it from another DSLR? Very impressive, thanks for visiting my home airport!
the majority is filmed with the Sony AX-53 camera, especially for large zooms
@@Razgriz-Flight-Spotting I see. Looking it up now, it's 4K and looks pretty nice!
