So: dumb question perhaps (especially several years after the last post!). I'm (trying) to get my uhf out of one Triton to put it into another. I cannot see where the wiring goes once it heads behind the dash/console ... I can (I think) see where it comes out at the fuse box and piggy backs another fuse ... but how much dash plastic do I have to start yanking off to trace the wires? (Mike)
Dont like drilling holes in dash/console.mounting bracket for uhf radio cant be attached using 3M tape? I know the mic bracket is to small to use 3 M tape
The antenna is a little underdone. As soon as overhanging foliage hits it on an overgrown track that antenna is gone. Need a thicker flexible whip that unscrews at the base so it can be easily replaced.
Obviously super keen to get excited!

Haha yeah I know mate I'm trying to cut it out in the videos just a habit when talking thanks for watching mate
@1EccentricMoFo obviously
How did you wired it? Can you please explain more.
I wired it to a constant 12v source as the UHF has a switch to turn it off and on. You need to find a wire with 12v with ignition off or on.
What brand is this?
Ridge Ryder mate
How do you find it
It's good mate never had a drama with it.
