I dig that they tried something different here. Felt like they started making the same songs for a bit. While I do miss the fast paced easycore tracks they’re known for, this was a nice change of pace into 90s rock territory mixed with their classic sound. Fun stuff and good vibes.
This record is a 9, maybe even a 10 for me. I especially loved the song maybe it's me. This band has such technicality in their songwriting that it's nice to hear a straightforward and catchy track. This album doesn't pretend to be anything but Four Year Strong. It is EXACTLY what they wanted to do and precisely what they needed to write after brain pain. They expertly showcase who they are and where they are headed in a short amount of time. Phenomenal!
While catchy and earwormy I found the lyrical component a bit lacking, even comparing to Brain Pain. However, musical component the riffs, the songwriting, top notch. I absolutely love the guitar work on this album that saves even the worst song on the album (which is STFIL, which I believe stands for Sucks To Fall in Love, I mean it's literally in the chorus). Will Putney is a magician, that tone on lead guitar is so crunchy, like a pickle.
In some way shape or form is considered "the worst", right? I still gotta listen to this and then I'll hear your review. If there's one song on this album I like as much as stuck in the middle, I'll let you know. In some way shape or form would have been much better if it was an EP cuz it still has a couple songs I like more than anything they've done since. They'll never outdo rise or die trying for me but I'll give this a try!
I've only had a chance to listen to it once. And Honestly I'm not a fan. I do love that they took a risk with something like this and I do plan on listening to this record more to really see if it will grow on me. But, as of right now the only Tracks I really remember are Dead End Friend, Daddy O' Mine and How Do I Let You Go? The Others just didn't hit like all of Brain Pain did. There really was something special about that record and maybe a lot of it had to do with timing since the Pandemic happened right after the album got released. Overall I think with time this record might grow on me. The same thing happened with Balance and Composure's Light We Made Record.
The review was a joke. If you are going to review an album, at least get the Album Title right dude “Analysis Paralysis”.. not the other way around. “Stay the f in line”? The song repeats the words “Sucks to fall in love” OVER AND OVER AND OVER The band isn’t known for being heavy?! You are definitely not an actual fan of FYS Album was great. Your review was just rambling nonsense.
I told someone else who corrected me on STFIL that 'Stay The F In Line" is the common phrase that was very popular on social media for awhile and it blinded me to the actual meaning of the song. I messed up the title on purpose. I was gonna call it "Panalysis Aralysis" but couldn't get the words out. As for being heavy, I normally review deathcore, metalcore, technical death metal and the like. I wouldn't call this band "heavy" and most my regular viewers would laugh at you for saying it is. I am glad you enjoyed the album tho. Did you like it more than Brain Pain?
Thank you for 160 views!! Dont forget to subscribe to see more and help support my channel! What should I review next?!?

The song STFIL meaning Stay the fuck in line? Or more likely Sucks to fall in love which is kinda the whole point of the song.
You're like the 3rd person lol

This is better than In Some Way Shape or Form but it's not their best album for sure. At this rate idk if they'll outdo any of their past albums

This is their weakest album. Not bad but doesnt hold up to the rest
It'll probably be a grower!
