  • Dean of the School of Divinity at Cairn Univeristy, and Director of the Center for University Studies, Dr. Jonathan Master, sat down for a conversation with Dr. Derek Thomas. Thomas is a pastor and theologian, known for his teaching, writing and editorial work. He is currently the Distinguished Visiting Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia. He talks with Jonathan about his life, conversion, and perspective on the ministry.

    Really appreciated this interview. Just one thought on Dr Thomas's comments @ 19:35 (or so) on 55-year-olds and seminary. Robert Murray M'Cheyne had a ministry of five years at St Peter's, Dundee (and only a couple years before that as an assistant). Worth it? I think so.

    can anyone tell me why he is British but has a German accent ? just wondering...

      Been Redeemed, he is Welsh and has a Welsh accent.

      Benjamin Chew I’m welsh and thought he was Dutch based on a Q&A with some other dudes in America! Just discovered him this morning at 05:00. He’s got a great attitude.

      @@benjaminchew8005 That is more Cardiff and less Berlin. Welsh people do a British accent differently. Excellent Welsh accent.
