Consumer level APs typically operate in Low Power Indoor mode, which does not require AFC. I really doubt Standard Power will ever used for consumer level Access Points
wow i'm sure this wont result in GPS data leaks or DoS attacks against daily AFC callbacks... The encumbrance is the problem, but this does not look like a solution. Everything should spectrum-share. Does anyone really think we'll still have an AFC in 2050? 2060? My heart goes out to the developers behind AFC. They did nothing wrong. I hope at the very least they were well compensated.
