What made my laugh about David Lammy is that he was on the radio saying that he was giving a speech at a school in Surrey and they had cricket pitches, rugby pitches , lots of land and small class sizes, then he came back to Tottenham and the school he visited was a wreck and there were 35 in a class. What lammy didn’t add was that the parents in Surrey are paying 40k a year to send their children to that school and the school in Tottenham that was wrecked was because the kids wrecked it. Action and consequences.
I went to school in the 60s and , were 44 in my final primary school year
The schools in Tottenham get £6,000 per pupil per year.
Here in Devon we get £4,200 and no access to Athletics tracks, Tennis courts, Swimming pools etc
