20 squadrons means near about 200 fighter it is not beneficial for indian airforce bcoz it is low capable jet it cannot win against f16 Pakistani and chinese jets India should spend money on mk2 and amca

Tejas kaa engine General Electric kaa hai. Afsos ki baat hai ki kaaveri project pura nahi hua aur bharat apna swadeshi engine nahi bana paaya.

In a war like situation even America sends its A10 warthog which is the cheapest aircraft. we had su30mki at the time of balakot air strike but why did Mr. abhinandan was chosen with mig 21 bison which is 3 decade old aircraft. But now just see tejas a full aircraft of 4 generation plus also have stealth features with smallest fighter in the world. You can even use it for navy's aircraft carrier. Plus a student pilots choice. Plus you can attack with it. Plus it is cheap. Plus if usa buys this it will be half the cost to him as the engines are provided by usa only. So for world it will be for 40 to 50 million a piece but for usa 25 to 30 million a piece. That's why usa wants tejas. It's the bloody deal which usa wants. No other aircraft will be so cheap to him as tejas. The more usa delays the more loss it will be for him.

I appreciate the effort but tejas is a single engine plane and sukhoi are twin engine. Tejas has lot of variants like tejas mk1a, which can carry weapons upto 5 tons. Sukhois su 30 can carry lot more as they are twin engine. So the comparison is not very fair.
US should provide all the technology to beat China for this fighter.
