You've gotta really admire Luke here. He actually tried to get Mikkos out of that chamber. That speaks volumes for his character and part of the reason why I loved Luke so.
I didn't realize how "physical " the Luke years of GH were!!! AG was committed actor, did his own stunts!! No wonder, he hurt his back!!!!!! I pray for Tony, and wish him peace and a pain free life!

I see so much of the scrawny undernourished kid from Elm Street in this scene. I think the high angle videography heightens this sense. I've always loved TG's physicality. He has a lot of grace, but there has always been for me a fragility/vulnerability, too. He's a lover, not a fighter. And he definitely has taken his share of beatings.
Well Mikkos is gone, but if you were paying attention on that first day when he appeared, he was asked how long they were going to be there and Mikkos said, "six weeks". And that's how long John Colicos appeared. Exactly six weeks!

I love how angry Robert is. He's just waiting to plug Victor (who I always thought was the most handsome of the brothers back then). But, Victor killed O'Reilly so beautiful eyes or not, he's gotta go. LOL I just love how tought Laura is here. She's not hiding in a corner losing it any longer. And there goes Mikkos. Ice Pop. Yay Luke!

Well Luke did try to save Mikkos once he saw what was happening when that door shut. The same demise that Mikkos wanted Luke to die by & what happened to Tony, Alexa, Max & Noelle.
Didn't think about it back then , but I think it would have been nice if Alex survived till the end. Just to see her reaction to not only Luke, Laura and Robert being on the island but them beating Mikkos.
That alarm noise may be the most annoying sound I've ever heard. But if they sold it as a clock radio w/ alarm, I'd buy it cuz it just might be the answer to getting my 14 yr old out of bed in the morning.
@as008m That was the plan..... glad it worked.... I too appreciated all the clips in isolation... but appreciated them so much more in the whole scheme of things. Thought it should be availablel that way for anyone who wanted to view it.

Looking back at this, which I watched when I was 12, Laura with her unexplained cute outfit on the beach (unless she was able to steal it on the boat) suddenly handling a gun like a master is pretty hilarious.

Okay, so we all know this is a soap opera here, but shouldn't the temperature in the control room drop rapidly and freeze the bejeebers out of Luke and Mikkos when the door to the ice room opens up? Just sayin'...
@@2006bbbb1 Yeah, I agree! But, I think it would have added a little more drama - a time is of the essence thing, i.e., if I don't do something soon both Mikkos and I are gonna freeze, and all of Port Charles will die. But, hey, this scene worked, too! LOL!

I guess that is why the way they changed Luke in the later years is just not believable.

To see the terrifying look on the face of Mikkos Cassadine gives me the chills. He suffered a very horrible death.

I wonder if Victor and Robert noticed they both have the same accent. Maybe Victor went to prep school or college in Australia. LOL
