Well, but Whitney, why would they pretend to be strangers then? In 1x01, there was literally NO ONE at the grill except these 2 and the barkeeper. And why would they pretend that they don't know each other because of the barkeeper? It's not like they were being aware of filming for a tv show in that scene.
I also noticed that when the liars went to Ravenswood for the Great Charlemagne and he used Aria for the magic trick it could've been to show that she's got 2 personalities, one Aria disappears and another Aria appears.

Anyway it could be possibile for Ezra to be A.D., I just thought about when Cece was on his payroll in the ravenswood lair, and I always think that it I'd be weird for a person to have a lair just to make a book, but I wouldn't like him as A.D., and I'd be disappointed if Aria doesn't have anything to do with it because as u can see there are so many clues! The theory about her multiple personality disorder is fascinating to me, I hope that the writers have a good storyline because I wasn't happy with Charlotte's reveal at all.

I think this theory is great, honestly, but I just really hope it's not true, because tbh I don't think Lucy would be able to pull off such a role. She looks too innocent for it. It's just that this video is so damn accurate and I can't deny that it is very likely to be true. But also I think that people who make these theory video's create much better story lines than Marlene herself and therefore I know that I'll be dissapointed by the answers that she'll give us. It's been a year and a half since I finished PLL. I had watched these theories (that Aria is A) before too and I am watching these again. These are so convincing. It makes me so angry how writers fucked it up. They did not have the courage to show that Aria and Ezra were messed up because they wanted to give the show a sweet ending. I bet if it was a movie then they would have surely shown the real faces of Aria and Ezra. I want this real version to be made a series. So that I can watch 150+ episodes of meaningful clues later to be revealed that Aria was AD and Ezra helped her all the way.

Sometimes when artists get caught up in their work they start to believe their creations are real. I think AD is insane enough for that to be the case.
I think that Ezra is A.D and all the other's are his paid off minnions.There have been many blackboard clues over all the seasons behind Ezra about him being A or about his feelings on things.Remember the clue married for love that Spencer gets from A? Behind Ezra on the blackboard in one classroom scene we see that quote but just above that you see the word action A capitalized and directly below iit we see daisy with the D capitalized. There are many hints to him like that.Later we see in 4x12 in Ravenswwod it's Ezra lair they find with all this spy tech thats costs so much money but Ezra claims he is broke?I think he's been spying a long time on everyone in town and he uses these secrets to blackmail them and this is why.In one of Ezra's log books on the girls Aria reads it says about her that she has been in Iceland for three years.We know that she hasn't but what if she has been in and out of Radley since she was little.When Aria gets stressed out she acts up some times seeing things other times violently.What if somehow Ezra met Aria in Radley a long time ago,this is where he falls in love with her.Later she forgets she had ever met him,this upsets him so he goes looking for answers about her and starts to investigate the town and her friends.I think Aria blacks out and this is why I think she is the one who hit Alison not Cece .Cece was paid to take the blame by Ezra for Aria.We know that Cece was on the payroll in ravenswood logbook. Aria doesn't realize shes that sick most of the tome she handles herself well enough for peole not to notice it. In the first episode of the show in the scene where she goes back to school the first day,Emily talks to her and comments on that she changed her hair.Aria says she grew up and that the time she had her hair with the pink strip was her rebelling and finding herself.Emily makes a comment that thats ok yoy weren't well then! Why would she make this comment about Aria.This is why Eddie recognized her that day at Radley but didn't know how to approach the subject to her.This whole time it's about Aria right from the start. '
This is a great theory I also think this supports the Mona theory because, almost everytime there was a fire "A" had set something on fire such as the dolls, Shanna's picture, etc.

The name EZRA could be a link to the famous writer Ezra Pound. During his college years, he was friends with a girl called Hilda Doolittle, who was known as H. D. Also, Ezra Pound wrote a lot of poems where the "protagonist" had an Alter Ego and used masks to cover it up. Ezra Pound should have been executed because he supported the Italian Fascists or something like that. Honestly, I would've loved that ending! It would've been surprising and kept the audience on the edge of their seats as that all unraveled. Instead, the finale was rushed and didn't make much sense. It's like they were trying to avoid any of the main characters' deaths or guilt throughout the whole thing which made the ending pretty sad. Again, this makes so much more sense and would've been thrilling to watch! I wish they'd gone with this. Great theories, by the way!

I feel like Aria has to be important as they have used her as a Red Herring and put so many different clues in there about it being her that it wouldn't be fair to the fans for it to be someone else? The best twists are the one's you can guess.
I liked the Spencer's twin is A.D reveal because it made a lot of sense but having said that I love the Ezria is team A.D theory too. What the writers of PLL gave us is one probable ending but that doesn't mean we can overlook this possibility too. Lets just imagine in a parallel world your theory is true because there is just so much evidence and some brilliant reference to very deep literatures (we literature geeks love that!) :D. I wasn't disappointed with the end but thank you for giving everyone an excellent alternate angle.
I still don't know what I think of around this whole "Aria is A/Uber A/AD" thing. But I am starting to think as many other people that she never went to island, she was at radley, treated for her mental disorder. There's sooo many clues for this theory on the show and there's a bunch of really good theories on TH-cam. For exemple, search for "Aria was a patient at Radley"
A theory I believe is that Spencer has a twin because in one episode where Hannah is traped with A.D. she sees Spencer with no bangs but in that whole season into the future spencer has bangs
Although, I doubt that in reality this is what is going to be the big reveal, If your theory was a show/movie/book I would so read/watch it. As a person, who writes I can see where you are coming from and every story that happens to the characters comes from the author's relationship with them.

To support your theory even further, Marlene said she had been planning for this since season 1 and that we've seen AD since season 1 episode 1. Lucy said in several interviews that we get to see the " dark side " of aria and she also said that at one point all of the liars pitched the idea of one of the liars being AD to Marlene, then she said that she probably shouldn't have said that and we all know Lucy is the worst at keeping spoilers ( no offense, love ya luce ) and troian, the best at keeping spoilers, didn't even talk about dark aria or pitching liars might be AD ideas. The rest of the liars just don't talk that much anyway. Also lucy said in an interview that Troian knew who it was since s5 and that marlene told sat them down and told them a story, and she mentioned that the story was well put together and that marlene started it since s1 and pitched it back in s5 ! so here is that
OMG!!! This is the first "A is for Aria" theory I really like! This could be sort of "Gossip Girl" turn =)))) Although I understand that there were so many clues to real A, just interesting hints and references to various books/movies, that any theory can be proved. But I really like this idea of Ezra's book. At least it not that easy and trivial as all the others. =))))
Lucas is AD. and Wren is the person that killed Charlotte and also after the girls. Lucas reappears in season 6 after Charlotte dies, and the girls start getting messages again this time from AD. When Allison appeared to be dead Lucas got upset and messed up that statue. Then in another episode Emily has a box of Allison's A send a message wanting the box. Emily later tells the girls she believes Lucas wanted the box. Emily also received a phone call from someone telling her to stay out of their way. Emily told the girls it was Lucas that called. He denied making the call, but ever since then when the girls got calls, the caller would disguise their voice using technology. I believe Lucas is Allisons cousin. He is the same age. AD kept Arias file and got rid of Noels. Maybe Aria is Lucas twin.
So many clues pointing to Lucas, I'm sure it's him. Who filmed them digging in the woods? The only person who knew they were there was Mona, they were in his car though, easy for him to track. I actually think it's Lucas and Mona, but I think Toby killed Charlotte.

I watched a few interviews with all of the actresses when they were promoting the final season last week and from some of their answers, I got the vibe that Aria was A.D. I actually posted that as a comment on one of the videos and the next day your video showed up in TH-cam's recommendation videos.
Sara Maclean I think it was at least a little complicated in the first seasons, after Mona was revealed as A, it all fell apart, they preferred quantity of seasons and episodes over quality in story telling
Imagine if this is like Bates Motel the television series and Aria has a split personality like Norman Bates and Ezra knows and wants to write about her condition so he is like Chick Hogan going along with whatever Aria does and just documents all the things she has done.
I think Aria is a patient in Radley and she has multiple personality disorder as well as schizophrenia and she thinks she's all 4 liars. The other characters are in Aria's mind and are inspired by patients at Radley. Wren is her doctor. Dr. Sullivan is her counselor. Ezra is a guy she met one time at a bar (telling him she was in Iceland was just a lie) and the rest of the Ezra storyline is in her imagination. That's why his apartment number is the same as the song that was playing when they met, because it's just her own weird fantasy/hallucination. Bethany/Cece/Kate are all nemeses in her mind (and real patients at Radley) and her hatred for them is triggered for her by their blonde hair which is all she saw of the girl kissing her dad in the first episode (Meredith) which happened at a time when she was just starting to mentally break down. Alison was her friend in real life and she killed her on that night. The drinks messed with her meds and she killed Ali (triggered by the blonde hair and anger that Ali was going to tell her "secret" which is that she has multiple personalities) and then felt confused about what had happened. That's when she was admitted to Radley. The recurring themes in the show are Aria's mental obsessions (old novels, English literature, Paris, dolls, etc.) Any scene with all the 4 liars discussing and debating things is really just Aria's own tormented thoughts. If you re-watch the first episode with this theory in mind it kind of works. Just forget about all the crazy details that happen from that point on cause it's pretty much "all a dream". Maybe A.D.'s identity won't be the most shocking reveal. What if the last shot of Pretty Little Liars is Aria in a mental institution playing pretend with her four dolls Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Alison. Imagine that. A.D. = Aria's Delusion/Dream/Delirium

Something I also noticed was that MEREDITH = IM THE RED. Also, producers said Uber A is in the pilot, she is in the pilot! Just putting that out there. The dollhouse could be a time when the institution decided Aria had to go through more intensive treatments such as, shock therapy?
Also i one of the recent episodes when the girls go in Alison's dead aunts home everyone file is there but Aria's. Then in the scene following 'A.D' has both Noels and Aria's file.

I noticed a link with Ezra being Ad last night and that in season 4 episode 14/15 he is wearing the army outfit with a gas mask. And then in 6x 1 mona is given a gas mask. We also know that Alison is Ad's favourite and people would think Ezra favourite is aria. But maybe not. He was with Ali first and he is writing a book about her ... sooooo idk

I read somewhere a theory about the 'A-team'. The theory said that the A was for Aria T for Toby who was on the A-team E for Ezra A for Andrew because he helped Aria too and is maybe still involved. M for Mona. I thought it was kinda smart.
Ezra has been suspicious to me since day one. Aria not so much but now her and spencer are making me suspicious. It has to be either spencer, aria or Ezra. Has to be.
But I do think that after Ezra published his book, thing got more calm. He needed a material for a second book, so he decided to start the story again, so he could have more material. But how cool it would be if PLL ends with Ezra closing a book with the name Pretty Little Liars by Ezra Fitzgerald, and puts it on a shelf next to other PLL books (I mean, 7 seasons is a little bit too much for one book).
I read an article recently stating that maybe Byron's brother (Aria's uncle), Scott, could be A.D. It basically said that because we know that Scott suffered from a mental illness, we can assume he spent time in Radley. Mary Drake was in Radley and had a baby so could it possibly have been with Scott because we don't know the father of her second child. Could Mary Drake be lying about Spencer being her child though? Maybe her child is really Aria and A.D stands for "Aria's Dad". It seems like a long shot but I am most definitely standing behind this theory.

I think it's Aria and Ezra. The episode when they're making wedding plans, pause the screen when the camera pans over the table of plans. You see a form from the dentist. It's the form that Hannah stole, A knocked her out and put a note in her tooth then took the papers. we then see a shred or burn then but what if they were fake. It would explain how they have them!

Aria doesn't realize shes that sick most of the tome she handles herself well enough for peole not to notice it. In the first episode of the show in the scene where she goes back to school the first day,Emily talks to her and comments on that she changed her hair.Aria says she grew up and that the time she had her hair with the pink strip was her rebelling and finding herself.Emily makes a comment that thats ok yoy weren't well then! Why would she make this comment about Aria.This is why Eddie recognized her that day at Radley but didn't know how to approach the subject to her.This whole time it's about Aria right from the start.

The name EZRA could be a link to the famous writer Ezra Pound. During his college years, he was friends with a girl called Hilda Doolittle, who was known as H. D. Also, Ezra Pound wrote a lot of poems where the "protagonist" had an Alter Ego and used masks to cover it up.
Ezra Pound should have been executed because he supported the Italian Fascists or something like that. However, he wasn't executed because he was diagnosed somehow mentally ill ("geisteskrank" in German).

Honestly, I would've loved that ending! It would've been surprising and kept the audience on the edge of their seats as that all unraveled. Instead, the finale was rushed and didn't make much sense. It's like they were trying to avoid any of the main characters' deaths or guilt throughout the whole thing which made the ending pretty sad. Again, this makes so much more sense and would've been thrilling to watch! I wish they'd gone with this. Great theories, by the way!

I feel like Aria has to be important as they have used her as a Red Herring and put so many different clues in there about it being her that it wouldn't be fair to the fans for it to be someone else? The best twists are the one's you can guess.
I liked the Spencer's twin is A.D reveal because it made a lot of sense but having said that I love the Ezria is team A.D theory too. What the writers of PLL gave us is one probable ending but that doesn't mean we can overlook this possibility too. Lets just imagine in a parallel world your theory is true because there is just so much evidence and some brilliant reference to very deep literatures (we literature geeks love that!) :D. I wasn't disappointed with the end but thank you for giving everyone an excellent alternate angle.

But I am starting to think as many other people that she never went to island, she was at radley, treated for her mental disorder. There's sooo many clues for this theory on the show and there's a bunch of really good theories on TH-cam. For exemple, search for "Aria was a patient at Radley"

A theory I believe is that Spencer has a twin because in one episode where Hannah is traped with A.D. she sees Spencer with no bangs but in that whole season into the future spencer has bangs

Lucas is AD. and Wren is the person that killed Charlotte and also after the girls. Lucas reappears in season 6 after Charlotte dies, and the girls start getting messages again this time from AD. When Allison appeared to be dead Lucas got upset and messed up that statue. Then in another episode Emily has a box of Allison's A send a message wanting the box. Emily later tells the girls she believes Lucas wanted the box. Emily also received a phone call from someone telling her to stay out of their way. Emily told the girls it was Lucas that called. He denied making the call, but ever since then when the girls got calls, the caller would disguise their voice using technology. I believe Lucas is Allisons cousin. He is the same age. AD kept Arias file and got rid of Noels. Maybe Aria is Lucas twin.

I watched a few interviews with all of the actresses when they were promoting the final season last week and from some of their answers, I got the vibe that Aria was A.D. I actually posted that as a comment on one of the videos and the next day your video showed up in TH-cam's recommendation videos.
I love all these theories, but the show has never been this complicated. The writers are to basic.

I think Aria is a patient in Radley and she has multiple personality disorder as well as schizophrenia and she thinks she's all 4 liars. The other characters are in Aria's mind and are inspired by patients at Radley. Wren is her doctor. Dr. Sullivan is her counselor. Ezra is a guy she met one time at a bar (telling him she was in Iceland was just a lie) and the rest of the Ezra storyline is in her imagination. That's why his apartment number is the same as the song that was playing when they met, because it's just her own weird fantasy/hallucination. Bethany/Cece/Kate are all nemeses in her mind (and real patients at Radley) and her hatred for them is triggered for her by their blonde hair which is all she saw of the girl kissing her dad in the first episode (Meredith) which happened at a time when she was just starting to mentally break down. Alison was her friend in real life and she killed her on that night. The drinks messed with her meds and she killed Ali (triggered by the blonde hair and anger that Ali was going to tell her "secret" which is that she has multiple personalities) and then felt confused about what had happened. That's when she was admitted to Radley. The recurring themes in the show are Aria's mental obsessions (old novels, English literature, Paris, dolls, etc.) Any scene with all the 4 liars discussing and debating things is really just Aria's own tormented thoughts. If you re-watch the first episode with this theory in mind it kind of works. Just forget about all the crazy details that happen from that point on cause it's pretty much "all a dream". Maybe A.D.'s identity won't be the most shocking reveal. What if the last shot of Pretty Little Liars is Aria in a mental institution playing pretend with her four dolls Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Alison. Imagine that. A.D. = Aria's Delusion/Dream/Delirium

There's no proof of this but it would be an interesting idea. What if Byron married Meredith in Aria's real world and she became her step mother and in the end it is revealed she is A.D. Something I also noticed was that MEREDITH = IM THE RED. Also, producers said Uber A is in the pilot, she is in the pilot! Just putting that out there.
The dollhouse could be a time when the institution decided Aria had to go through more intensive treatments such as, shock therapy?
Also i one of the recent episodes when the girls go in Alison's dead aunts home everyone file is there but Aria's. Then in the scene following 'A.D' has both Noels and Aria's file.

Ezra has been suspicious to me since day one. Aria not so much but now her and spencer are making me suspicious. It has to be either spencer, aria or Ezra. Has to be.
But I do think that after Ezra published his book, thing got more calm. He needed a material for a second book, so he decided to start the story again, so he could have more material. But how cool it would be if PLL ends with Ezra closing a book with the name Pretty Little Liars by Ezra Fitzgerald, and puts it on a shelf next to other PLL books (I mean, 7 seasons is a little bit too much for one book).

I read an article recently stating that maybe Byron's brother (Aria's uncle), Scott, could be A.D. It basically said that because we know that Scott suffered from a mental illness, we can assume he spent time in Radley. Mary Drake was in Radley and had a baby so could it possibly have been with Scott because we don't know the father of her second child. Could Mary Drake be lying about Spencer being her child though? Maybe her child is really Aria and A.D stands for "Aria's Dad". It seems like a long shot but I am most definitely standing behind this theory.

I think it's Aria and Ezra. The episode when they're making wedding plans, pause the screen when the camera pans over the table of plans. You see a form from the dentist. It's the form that Hannah stole, A knocked her out and put a note in her tooth then took the papers. we then see a shred or burn then but what if they were fake. It would explain how they have them!
