❤❤❤❤I am mesmerized by hay stacks or bundles. I can literally feel the warmth of the sun beams and the sweet aroma of hay OR the REFRESHING chill of the autumn mist after the heat of sumner. GOD BLESS CLAUDE MONET
Wow, should I ever get to travel again, I think you’ve inspired me to visit Giverny. Would be wonderfully insightful to see the sights Monet saw. I suspect the first thoughts might be ‘oh it’s a pond with lilies, I’ve seen that before’. But then again, that may be the point. But to take a photo, or to store the scene in your own memory and make your own art from it. What a marvellous exercise. :) Thank you for the videos. :)
Thanks. Yes, it was my wife who really wanted to go there, but when I got there I was so glad we saw it. The garden is wonderful, as are the extensive lily ponds. Then walking around and seeing those haystacks - quite the experience.

Yes, they glow!
I love this painting. It is so realistic. Haystacks are a universal symbol. They are different in America, cubes or giant wheels of hay.
Monet’s way of simply painting their “effect”, rather than as mere objects, is so engaging.
