I have been saying from the beginning that Ming is like that because he has no clue how to express his feelings and nurture love because of his upbringing/parents. Ming became obsessed with Joe because he finally finds his person who truly loves him, just him.
I knew it from first issue he is suffering, desperate and seeking for true love he didnt know how to get and believe it. He is full of desire and frightend to be rejected so he thaught he must demand what he wants... even a stand-in for his secret passion. 💔 I have seen many broken men by their dominant narcissist mother. But in real life they are not able for a relationship even when you sacrify yourself. 😭 "Ming ... Miing ... Miiing ... Miiiiing... !!!" ❤🩹
Yes you r absolutely right. Joe was his comfort and safe zone. And that's the reason he obsessed with him. He couldn't tolerate Sol becz he had a fear to lost Joe. From the beginning he loved Joe but he didn't know how to express true feelings. He wanted love he got it from Joe. Joe was his whole world 🌎.

I have been seeing people call ming a red flag from day 1(I dont blame it though)...I was silent form the beginning as I was damn sure that there must be some reasons behind him in being this way....And now it is crystal clear....The fact that ming never got any love or care from his family...He does not even know the real meaning of love to be hones UNTIL HE MET JOE.....We can already see the care and love for joe....
EDIT: BTW I just realized that ep 11 is coming back with it's curse AS ALWAYS...I AM NOT RAEDY FOR IT

Don’t read the novel because Thailand director has changed The Originals story. In the novel Ming family don’t kidnapped Joe but look in the Serie is not like that. I don’t read the novel.
@@Darya175 if i remember correctly, in the novel, Ming family did kidnap Joe..his grandpa kidnapped Joe when he bought food or something and Joe was scared sh*tless because Ming's grandpa was military veteran but turned out the grandpa was not that bad and quite chill person. He scolded Joe to leave Ming, but then when Joe argued and said they loved each other the grandpa just go, 'meeh, you young people know nothing, do as you want as long as you can'.
But i think they remove grandpa's role in this series and replaced him with the mafia fiasco..

When Joe stepped up to protect Ming from his parents, I just wanted to cry-- 😭 He's always hurt trying to protect Ming.
I can't with this series anymore. Joe and Ming just have a little nice moment. I find when they are in their own little world, it so beautiful but not so peaceful. Still, why can't their love continue to develop and blossom in a way of a positive relationship. Their togetherness is not that long, and now what in the world is going on. Upcoming Joe and Ming is going to face so many obstacles and hardships in their relationship😮💨. Sometimes, their obstables and hardships are unreasonable, especially toward Tong. Tong character is so hateful that I never want to see this type of person in my real life. There is unknown of the ending, but for now, I feel so sad and pity Ming and Joe.Why like this way....Why? Why? Why???????💔😤
So like, house arrest is Ming's family tradition 😂 Ming was just carrying out that tradition when he held Joe captive before😂...And was that Secretary Jim getting the beating instead of Ming? I guess he's paid enough😂
I actually slowed down the speed and the face/outfit seems like Joe was protecting Ming when his dad hit them. At first, I thought it was Jim too, but make more sense that it’s Joe
