What if this doesn't work and it just keeps asking for the pw. It never gives me the recovery screen it just powers back on after all the holding

mine was doing the same thing there is a different video that says after u turn it off hold the valium up k and the power key but then it says no command then you have to bypass that by pressing the power key and tapping the valium up key once then it gives u the factory reset option it will provide u with the same opinion again once its reset just go to rebut after it resets

ML8 PLUS....IT DOES NOT WORK. Your ML8 PLUS uses different android software.
It would be awfully helpful if you would also tell us what DOES work, instead just saying it doesn't.
I figured it out myself. And your wrong BTW. It DOES work with the ML8plus. You have to press the volume DOWN first and hold, then volume UP and hold, and then power and hold and release as soon as logo appears. I just successfully factory reset my ML8 plus because my daughter forgot her password using doing it this exact method, not even 5min ago.

I had luck after 3 hours (watching Golden State win), power hold + Vol Up, poof factory settings. Wiping data. Or my ass with this piece.

For everyone that still can't figure out the MHL plus hard reset, hold volume up and power button for about 6 seconds after 6 seconds let off of the power button but continue to hold the volume up button

Push & Hold - Vol Up, then Vol Down, then Power. When logo shows quickly let go.
Push - Down Vol to get to "Wipe data/factory reset".
Wait for - "Data wipe complete."
Push - Power Button to restart & then do the setup.

You show but do t explain. Is it the up arrow or down arrow while holding the power button. It won't work for me on my tablet. Pattern password not working. Your help is appreciated

This is for the people that don't have a emergency call and that says photos:
Step 1: Factory Reset
Step 2: hold power button down and click the red emergency button
Step 3: double tap the button above the number
Step 4: Go to edit. Tap the photo icon. Choose the 2nd option. Tap the button at the top left corner
Step 5: hold down Photos
Step 6: Go to permissions
Tap the magnifying glass. Type in Settings. Scroll down and tap settings
Step 7: click open
Follow the rest of the steps from the video. It works
After you force stop and disable just back out and repeat same steps except for the 1st force stop.
I'm not getting the option to continue offline.
Wow how informative I noticed that you don't have your PIN just like I don't have my but then in all silence you're pushing buttons on the side of the device that none of us can see up and down and maybe the middle and then up and then out and then down and then you touch the screen but you have no words no explanation nothing what the freak is that bro? That last step is crucial.. took me a few times but if you don't do it literally step by step it will fail. Definitely works for a fact and I did this on my BLU G51s phone

Thankfully after I did this, it gave me the option to sign in with my email instead, which it wasn't giving me the option to do before and I'm not even sure why it wasn't letting me in because I knew my pattern code but it would not let me in with it, kept saying it was the wrong pin. So idk. But this definitely helped and got me back in mine! Thank you! 😊
What about if my screen isn't letting me swip it at all?? It does have a crack but it was working after that. Now my screen isn't letting me swip it at all. Only power button comes on
