A lot of the players out of the CCHL tend to advance to U Sports and not the NCAA, due to Carleton, UOttawa and Queens being powerhouse programs within an hour's drive from each team.
Cool video to view as a former Brave. These programs certainly change over time and being mindful of a program's player development is key. For example, Pembroke was a complete wagon during my time in the CCHL as they were moving on players to all levels, then again their coach & GM was Sheldon Keefe, and we all know he hasn't done bad himself.

CCHL needs to bring back Kanata and Gloucester into the league.
Kanata moved to Renfrew. Gloucester is Rockland.
