So masterful forreal, i didnt even notice the water representing him constantly hearing that clapping until i watched Yaboyroshis reaction. Imagine if he didnt stop Gojo that day
Toji left 2 things: 1. The worm curse, which Geto took and made his own. 2. Megumi (which translates to blessing in Japanese) which Gojo took and raised. A Curse and A Blessing 💔
Nanami’s line after Haibara’s death is so important, asking Geto why they can’t leave all of the curse exorcisms to Gojo now that he’s the strongest so the rest of them don’t have to die. But Geto saw firsthand what happened when Gojo was exhausted from overworking and was nearly killed by Toji, and the insane and terrifying experience that resulted in him getting that strong in the first place. Geto wants a world where Gojo doesn’t have to be destroying and remaking his brain to protect himself and everyone else.
What's insane is whenever Geto talks like he's about to snap, the sound of water starts playing, like in the showers or when it starts raining and it sounds like clapping. It must remind him of what happened to Amanai
This was my favorite subtlety about this episode. It just shows how traumatized Geto was from that scene and how much that messed with his head. And honestly, seeing a group of adults clapping for a young girl’s death would mess anyone up (well, Gojo was just too high from his awakening to actually feel anything). I hope other people see your comment, because that was absolutely brilliant sound design by MAPPA.
@sain1536 I meant that Gojo himself said that he wouldn’t feel anything if him and Geto decided to kill the religious group. Prior to that, Gojo even said that he wasn’t angry over Riko’s death during his internal monologue while fighting Toji, due his enlightened state. I personally don’t think Riko’s death and the religious group’s celebration of her death scarred Gojo as much as it scarred Geto, because Gojo was in such an enlightened state, sort of like a blank-slate and was just open to any possible actions/opinions. Kind of like how a child’s impressionable mind would be greatly imprinted on by whoever raised them. That’s why Geto was able to act as Gojo’s moral compass in that moment, which determined Gojo’s morality for years to come. And I’m sure if Gojo really wanted to kill the religious group, he would’ve done it before Geto arrived at the scene.
@@sain1536 More accurately, during his high, Gojo couldn't feel. Or rather, couldn't feel from a biased point of view as he felt everything. Then, he came down from his high, saw Amanai's body, and more than not feeling sad about Amanai, he wouldn't feel anything from killing the religious group, as they are worth nothing to him. In that moment, both were in a fragile state and gave each other their ideas, hence the color themes of the negative blue of cursed energy and positive red of positive cursed energy. Geto gave Gojo his ideal of how a death should have meaning, and Gojo imprinted the idea that worms are worth nothing. Then they swap and you see how their alignments change, Gojo from negative to positive and geto vice versa
I think having Megumi (and Tsumiki to some extent) as a responsibility helped keep Gojo grounded after Geto left the academy. He realized he'd have a second chance at making things right for a younger generation. He sponsored Megumi and Tsumiki's education and would check up on them often over the years. Now the love for his students is what drives him forward.
I think the two of them had choose different path on how to move forward as a Jujutsu sorcerers. Gojo choose to become a teacher so (as you said) he can make others/the younger sorcerers to become strong like him. Whereas Geto choose the "easy way" by killing all non-sorcerers
@@naufalkhoiruzaqi954what’s also kind of ironic is how both Geto and Gojo drastically influenced each other, within the same moment with the star religious group. What Get said stuck with Gojo, and guided him, and what Gojo asked stuck with Geto and guided him in his doubts as well. Really well written
Yuki is definitely not evil, her ideas just come across a little sus because we're seeing Geto interpreting them while he's already spiraling, she's more of a scientist in a sense, looking for answers and alternatives to the way the Jujutsu world works. She just ends up unwillingly giving him stuff to think about, and then it becomes his easy way out (note how she's pointing at the emergency exit when she explains) when he finally DECIDES that he can't live with the deaths and mistreatment of the sorcerers around him anymore. Such a sad path for such a great character. Can't wait to see you guys reacting to the Shibuya arc, specifically one of the coolest characters coming up :D
I'm wondering tho, did Yuki ever regret saying those ideas in front of Geto or realize that the one made Geto become "evil" was herself? Was it even visited later in the manga? I mean in the present day. Did both of them finally meet again but in different sides?
@@bellemendoza2311 Gojo being that strong was already solo carrying the sorcerer's institution. He can't be everywhere at once :/ BUT, the higher up and adults around Geto really fucked up not seeing, not checking a teen who've seen too much sad / dark things
I think Gojo and Shoko had it at least as bad, if not worse, than Geto. Gojo as the strongest was being relied on for the worst and most difficult missions by himself; Shoko was kept mostly in the school to constantly deal with injuries, many of which would have been fatal despite her best efforts. In a way, if Geto had been less self-absorbed, he would have seen past just his own difficulties and paid attention to how Gojo and Shoko still managed to stay strong despite what they had to deal with. Instead he opted for an easy escape into madness, a bit like a drug addict choosing to detach from reality.
Gojo not only couldn't kill Geto at that moment, he was avoiding it for the next 10 years and in the end Yuta did most of the job. even after the fallout they kept calling each other their one and only best friend. that's why i loved their last conversation in the JJK 0 - it was very bittersweet yet touching 🥲
there's an important difference in the gojo and geto scene in the crowded street. from gojo's pov (the one we saw before) it was blurry, dark and sad because it was the end of their relationship and overall one of the worst days of gojo's life. from geto's pov (this episode) it's bright and clear and the music is happier because this was the path geto was happy taking. i love the attention to detail in scenes like these
Geto was definitely not happy. That fake smile, which developed into the Joker-like grimace we see in the film, was not a reflection of his true feelings. He had a breakdown and had resorted to a ruthless madness to distance himself from the painful reality of not being able to protect everyone. Most importantly, he even invited Gojo to kill him in that moment, that's how badly he was suffering.
@@hei7846 more accurately they decided to adopt kids together... separately. lol. collectively realizing the value of single parenting after splitting up
I love the title of this episode/section of the arc: Premature Death. It's the premature death of: Geto and Gojo's friendship, both of their inocence, Haibara and his enthusiasm, Nanami's trust/empathy for Jujutsu society and Jujutsu society as a whole. Fucking great!
Everybody was waiting for that one single event to set geto over the edge only to find that it was just a series of unfortunate events: Riko and Toji trauma, gojo becoming the strongest leaving geto more alone and isolated, lack of sleep (can see from his eyes) nobody checking up on him, yuki planting bad ideas into his head at the wrong moment, haibara dying, the two little girls being mistreated by the villagers, killing everybody in the village, geto releasing that if he had gojos power the things he could do, even just his cursed technique forcing him to consume something so horrible every time he exorcises. All of that adding up into the geto we know now. It's sad cause maybe had someone noticed him on this spiral and talked to him, things could be different...
true... just like how he was the one talking to gojo when gojo didn't have concrete ideals yet. he got through gojo when he was in a good headspace. yuki got to him when he was in a bad headspace. how tragic. 😭
FUN FACT: Sonoda (the one Geto killed during his speech) is the Vessel Representative of the organization during the assassination of Riko Amanai, and I think that Geto’s act was personal.
It was 100% personal. Both Riko and Kuroi could both see and interact with curses, they were already in control of the cursed energy from their bodies and causing no harm to society, while the church people, like any religious fanatic, was just around making more curses with their extremism.
shibuya isn't canon actually!! it never happened!:)) completely fanmade because jjk was just too lighthearted for the community, yk? everyone lived happily ever after, nothing bad happened! no deaths! no misery!!
I think mappa and the animators really did a good job on showing Geto's emotional state in this episode. The weight loss, unkempt hair and appearance, his eyebags got worse and even the water that sounds like clapping. What he did wasn't right but it's reasonable. He lost his motivation started from failing to protect Riko, losing to Toji, feeling left by his best friend. All those added with witnessing Haibara's death and Nanako and Mimiko mistreated (and by non sorcerers on top of that). He finally lost his moral values. Everything made him questioned what his truly goal was.
Geto is such a tragic character. Especially because he used to believe that jujutsu sorcerers exist to protect non-sorcerers but the series of unfortunate events made him question his morality and beliefs as a jujutsu sorcerer. I don't even blame for him turning to the dark path
Yeah, he have that key ingredient that makes a perfect antagonist: we don’t agree with him… but we understand. And is that understanding that makes the character feel grounded.
they're all a bit crazy inside. i feel like geto was too 'normal' for this job that's why he snapped and the feeling of being one of the most powerful made him think he should be able to do something to stop the cycle. nanami is another of the 'normal' ones but he isn't as powerful as the special grades so he just goes with the flow
Jack has absolutely crushed his deductions in this episode. Very observant and excellent at connecting dots. Testament to Gege's writing that he made sure anyone can pinpoint the reasons for why things are possible in the universe he's written if they're paying close enough attention.
i also noticed and really liked the use of sound for geto in this episode, like when he is showering and we start to hear the clapping of all those people, and when he is voicing his thoughts to yuki how the rain becomes louder, but then when she speaks it starts to be a soft, background noise i think that was neat:)
@@giorno2745 next week recap episode of the movie drops, then the week after recap episode of season 1. Then 1 Week break following season 2 ep 6. Hopefully these eps are refreshing enough for some people that arent into jjk that much
Aye great reaction yall👍 you guys picked up on a bunch. These 5 eps were bittersweet In the scene where Geto is speaking to the residents of the town, the candle in the room finishes but there is still one burning. That could possibly symbolize one of the two avenues Yuki was talking about; it running out 😢
this and the way he squeezed his fist until it bled were such amazing details to add. especially, because we've hardly seen Gojo losing his composure like that (the next time will also be because of Geto). Mappa made us feel the pain even more 😭
Guys, Just a little reminder, actual timeline Geto can't be curse due to the First scene he appear on season 1, the people could see him, but not the curses around him.
@@studyaccount499 are you actually stupid? not everyone read the manga and this comment specifically was talking about the fact that geto himself couldn't have turned into a curse since people saw him. delete your comment, you're unnecessarily spoiling it.
@@wedontagelikemilktho.7839Manga readers for this story get spoiled by other manga readers. I read the new chapters each week and even I have to be vigilant not to get soiled by clowns who look at leaks and then discuss them everywhere before the chapter is actually released. Geto's story and character development is so well written, and the anime portrays it perfectly. I feel like anime generally struggles to give us believable villains but Geto's transformation actually makes sense. I feel genuinely sad for him and about losing him to the dark side. (Even more sad for him in present day... if you know, you know...)
I just he come back somehow he was so interesting he Is like the magneto of jujutsu world hot take more interesting than kenjaku if I have to say at least he knows what he wants🤣🤣
Its so tragic what happened with Geto. Gojo & Geto could have been one incredible team that could have help reform the jujutsu world, and guide the next generation. This past arc gives more depth to Geto's actions in JJK0 & also makes you appreciate what Gojo is doing now, why he chose to become a teacher, him wanting to help and guide the young sorcerers, make sure they're strong enough to survive this harsh world, with them as allies gradually change the backward system within the jujutsu society and most importantly make sure none of them will ever feel as alone and helpless as Geto felt. The ending scene with Megumi & teen Gojo and then the og gang back together just warms my heart. I'm not sure I'm ready for the Shibuya arc..
I didn't catch it the first time I watched, but the two candles in the scene where the girls are locked up represent his two options, and when he decides to kill the entire village, the candle that represents his desire to reject the feeling of killing non-sorcerers blows out.
The thing about sorcerers becoming a curse has been mentioned before in season 1. Basically if a sorcerer dies by a method that didn't involve jujutsu or cursed energy (e.g. if one slipped on a bar of soap and hit the sink or stabbed with a kitchen knife) they have a chance of becoming corrupted and returning as a vengeful cursed spirit
Geto is such a tragic character. It's messed up, but you kinda understand now why he did what he did. Somehow, you'd end up understanding too why Nanami quit being a sorcerer and why he never ostracized Geto.
The thing Yuki was talking about a sorcerer turning into a curse after death isn’t what Sukuna has done. Basically, if you kill a jujutsu sorcerer WITHOUT cursed energy, there’s a big chance that the sorcerer will come back as a vengeful spirit due to the fact that all sorcerers die with at least some sort of regrets. That why it’s important to kill a sorcerer WITH cursed energy as that ensures that the sorcerer won’t come back as a vengeful spirit. They talked about this when the sister school was planning to kill Yuji
this episode was my most favorite. i loved the animation and style of it, and the pacing was just great. I never thought this show would get this serious. Shit was fun as hell.
You gotta feel bad for Geto. Man went through so many traumatic experiences within the span of a year, with no end in sight, and had zero appreciation from the non-sorcerers who didn’t understand he was trying to help them. Of course the idea of killing all non-sorcerers is insane and he’s definitely a murderous psychopath, but you can see why he got to that point.
Even he's depressed he was still put Gojo first more than himself... I can't blame Geto since irl we also are experiencing the same thing (on our own circumstances) ... I'm sad that Haibara dead with such a horrible way (he lost his lower body), He reminds me with Yuji, so positive, kind, cheerful that's why Nanami is kinda attached to Yuji... I'm glad Nanami doesn't turn his path like Geto did even he's also feeling sick being sorcerer...next episode i think will be a recap of season 1 and also a lil bit of filler... can't wait for Shibuya arc, you will be surprised (in many ways)
Can't wait for more ...loved the arc sm...the last part with Megumi and gojo was so freaking wholesome.. kinda sad Gojo and Geto separated after seeing them in the past 5 episodes:(
If you look at it yuki's ideas are so necessary for the jujutsu society. Hunting curses being a never ending cycle is really a concerning thing. They constantly effect daily human lifes and results in thousands of human life every year in japan only and yet there isn't a permanent solution to this even after so many years. And in case there's a chance of a calamity like sukuna or the other disaster class curses which can wipe out cities and even nations. The power balance between curses and sorcerers are bound to astray. Apparently, it isn't like aot kr ds where killing every curses in the world will solve everything bcoz curse energy from civilians will still remain that can form up curses later on.
Gojo really looks like the guy that parents tell the kids not no to talk to in the street 😂 What is really well done with geto development is that it was not sudden right after the event. It took him some time to think about it and you can see how it made him miserable like with the sound of clapping instead of water 😢 You guys are really not ready for shibuya arc 😅 you might need those weeks to get ready because after it’s only going to be 😳🤯🤪😵💫😱
The star vessel group made Geto realise that the common people is who is truly the strong, as they use the chains of morality to force sorcerers into this dangerous life. Most Jujitsu sorcerers are forced into this dangerous and unending lifestyle of combatting curses for the common people, a problem the common people created, with no understanding or appreciation from them. The death of Haibara and witnessing how the common people treated those 2 little girls with jujitsu ability pushed him over the edge. His technique definitely made it worse but it’s not the main cause.
I wonder how different of an experience this show would be if you watch the first 5 eps of JJK 2 first, then watch 0, then 1, and then the rest of 2. It would probably feel even better than it already is.
Sad and depressing just seeing Geto like this til he reached a breaking point. It was all piled up for a year. And I can imagine what was running through Gojo's head. 🥺 Well, yeah you guys aren't ready for the Shibuya Arc. I think I'm kinda glad that we have to wait for around a month for it. 🥲
Knowing the full back story now makes me love how they showed Geto and Gojos conversation on the street. At the beginning of the season when it was darker and more sinister you're lead to believe it's from Geto's perspective but I think it's actually from Gojos. It's the anguish he's feeling knowing that his best friend went rogue and abandoned his former principles. But when we see the scene again at the end of the arc it's for Geto's perspective, bright outside with sunshine showing how he's made his resolve and is no longer struggle with the weight of his opposing viewpoints. 10/10 arc.
The "curse user turns into a curse after they died" thing is not a random drop actually, it is a common knowledge in jujutsu society. When Gakukanji (Kyoto's principal) asks his students to k*ll Yuji, he told them to do it with curse energy/technique because he could come back as a curse if they hadn't.

Geto let his emotions clouded his morals and thinking, he thinks his protecting the non sorcerers but thats wrong, his protecting the good people, weak or strong, sorcerer or non sorcerer, his mind was clouded by the wrong doings of non sorcerers but all people can also be like that.

Btw next week episode is not a montage or anything like that of season 1. Is more of a lighthearted comedic episode that mentions some of the stuff that happened last season.
OMG I suddenly realized: you really should watch From The New World. It's kind of sort of like what happens when Geto's goal becomes reality. Ofc that's not exactly what it's about, but it does have eerie similarities I never realized until just now O_O and is very interesting

that sound when geto is thinking about the hujmans. it is shown only when it rains. but its not the sound of rain. its the sound of the clapping of the smiling people from the cult when they retrieved star plasma vessels body. he was so disturbed by the smiling oblivious humans and their clapping that it stuck in his brain even a year later
15:47 it's not random tho, that thing about curse users becoming vengeful curse spirit was mentioned briefly during S1. And it's not like the sorcerer can do it, if the sorcerer die but no curse energy was involved in the death, there is always a chance they can be reborn as a curse spirit. Also, I love your theories and of course I don't like to confirm or denied them because of spoilers, but since this is something that already happen I guess there is no much problems... Geto cannot be a curse, remember that scene were he goes to a restaurant with Jogo and Hana I, everyone could see him, but not everyone could see the curses, so by that logic, Geto is still a person, someone that should be dead but is alive somehow.
I really hate it when most people that watched this episode blame yuki for geto's downfall. First of all, the idea of "killing all non-sorcerers" was geto's. Yuki only stated that it was the easiest route. She even pointed that she wasn't crazy enough to do that. The only reason he snapped is because of his friends dying and realized it is a pointless unending cycle. Geto is the only one responsible for his actions, and NOT because of Yuki. Almost all of reactors I saw on TH-cam blames yuki.😢
my favorite bit of storytelling from this arc is how in this episode, geto says that gojo had become the strongest. in the first episode of the season, gojo says they’ll be fine on the mission because “we’re the strongest.” they went from being a duo who could go up against anyone and anything, to gojo being the strongest on his own. and seeing how a year later, how much that has affected geto, is just heartbreaking.
Honestly I agree, demon slayer season 3 was decent but didn’t hit the same as season 2 for me. This arc felt better written than anything demon slayer has done. And we’re barely into the season, Shibuya is supposed to be way better than this so I’m hyped.
This episode was gold even though everything hurt... Too bad we didn't get to see Brig react to it. It was so sad, terrifying, to witness Geto's descent to hell. His ptsd, crazy overwhelming. The clapping sounds mingled with the pouring rain ? I definitely rewatched that scene a couple more times for how brilliant it was 🤌 I'm so not ready for the Shibuya arc...
Honestly, I feel so bad for Geto. So many things leading up to the point when he snapped. Amanai's death, the trauma he got from Toji, those people clapping to celebrate a girl's death, him being alone, his talk with Yuki, Haibara's death, seeing the two girls locked away... I'm not saying what he's doing is good, but I don't blame him for reaching that breaking point after his mindset was turned upside down. The way he heard clapping in the background, for example instead of the rain, was simply haunting... and now going to Shibuya arc after this, we are in for a ride.
Imagine instead of going to university, having a girlfriend, planning to have a family and a career u have to risk ur life everyday to kill curses to protect the world. U would need a very solid reason to justify such a life and sacrificing ur own mentality instead of bailing out and trying to live a normal life among normal people. Geto's story is very tragic, because as Gojo said he's a man of principle and moral. While non-sorcerers go to work, have children live their life, sorcerers literally risk their lives every single day as a job to kill the curses non-sorcerers create and stop them from killing everyone and taking over the world. In order to live such a burdened life you either have to be a psycho or be very dedicated to the greater cause to endure losing everyone for the greater good. Geto is like that. Gojo is more on the psycho side if u think about it. Of course, he's not a literal psycho, and he can experience very intense emotions but he generally is on another level mentally than everyone else due to how alone and detached he is. Its not like he doesn't care if people die but he certainly doesn't take it so personally so he's able to do this, whereas Geto needs a reason, he needs something to justify this exhausting and unfair reality he choses to endure as he saves people, otherwise he'd go crazy. And once he experiences this trauma he sees that not only are they battling a never ending battle, not only are there not enough sorcerers and most of them are not as strong as geto and gojo and die, BUT ALSO some of these non-sorcerers they are trying to save are actively trying to create more curses, kill sorcerers and non-sorcerers alike. One would say that not all non-sorcerers are bad and that's true. But even then you are left with good people who live their life carefree and create curses without even realising it and without wanting to of course, and u and ur friends have to kill these curses and die when its not even u who created them and its not u who should bear the responsibility. The responsibility is of these non-sorcerers... but again, its not their fault, theyre not doing it on purpose but its not them that suffer, the sorcerers suffer. It's a tough reality. And Geto was also just one of the victims of this system that the higher ups created. Taking little children and training them since small to kill curses and teaching them that this is the life they have to choose is very fucked up. That's why gojo hates them. Both he and Geto became victims of this reality.
Tbh are the end of the day Megumis wouldn't have agreed on Tojis actions, and he's prolly been gone longer before the hidden inventory arc, considering Megumis depiction... But we never know I suppose .
Guys if you're planning to make a reaction within the sports anime genre I would suggest Ao Ashi or Blue Lock which are both about soccer or One Outs or Ace of Diamond which is about baseball.

It was fascinating & kind of sad to see Geto slowly lose it and no one really notice the inner turmoil brewing inside him.
If only Gojo has realized all the signs and pulled him back up, Geto would have been saved.
@@bellemendoza2311 Gojo being that strong was already solo carrying the sorcerer's institution. He can't be everywhere at once :/
BUT, the higher up and adults around Geto really fucked up not seeing, not checking a teen who've seen too much sad / dark things
But the movie and manga muted gojo's last words to Geto. I wonder what he is actually say to geto
there's an important difference in the gojo and geto scene in the crowded street. from gojo's pov (the one we saw before) it was blurry, dark and sad because it was the end of their relationship and overall one of the worst days of gojo's life. from geto's pov (this episode) it's bright and clear and the music is happier because this was the path geto was happy taking. i love the attention to detail in scenes like these
Geto was definitely not happy. That fake smile, which developed into the Joker-like grimace we see in the film, was not a reflection of his true feelings.
He had a breakdown and had resorted to a ruthless madness to distance himself from the painful reality of not being able to protect everyone. Most importantly, he even invited Gojo to kill him in that moment, that's how badly he was suffering.
little fun fact: the kesa geto wears is called “gojo-kesa”. gege (the author) said that he chose this for geto because it had gojo’s name to it

@@nya69696stuff of nightmares 😩
And is that understanding that makes the character feel grounded.
a bit surprised on how gojo is still sane despite what he has been through
Dude looks like he's doing meth in recent chapters I don't know about that xD
they're all a bit crazy inside. i feel like geto was too 'normal' for this job that's why he snapped and the feeling of being one of the most powerful made him think he should be able to do something to stop the cycle. nanami is another of the 'normal' ones but he isn't as powerful as the special grades so he just goes with the flow
Oh the man is definitely not sane
Tbh every one in special grade except yuta is mentally unstable: gojo, sukuna, geto, toji, tsumuki, hikari, kenjaku, kashimo.
@@harshraj9266yuta is DEFINITELY mentally unstable too😭😭did you see bro during 0
Jack has absolutely crushed his deductions in this episode. Very observant and excellent at connecting dots. Testament to Gege's writing that he made sure anyone can pinpoint the reasons for why things are possible in the universe he's written if they're paying close enough attention.
i also noticed and really liked the use of sound for geto in this episode, like when he is showering and we start to hear the clapping of all those people, and when he is voicing his thoughts to yuki how the rain becomes louder, but then when she speaks it starts to be a soft, background noise
i think that was neat:)

I genuinely don’t understand the satisfaction someone gets from doing that to people.

Sukuna being an example

"stabbed with a kitchen knife" 🤔🤔🤔 I see you
Geto is such a tragic character. It's messed up, but you kinda understand now why he did what he did. Somehow, you'd end up understanding too why Nanami quit being a sorcerer and why he never ostracized Geto.
Right?? And the fact that his cursed technique straight up ruined him - mentally.
such a good episode and story for geto..
Jackson face when Mckay said Geto’s motive is valid 😳 “ITS MESSED UP” 😂
The thing Yuki was talking about a sorcerer turning into a curse after death isn’t what Sukuna has done. They talked about this when the sister school was planning to kill Yuji
i love how the clapping sound in geto's head shifts into the rain sound at 5:17
this episode was my most favorite. i loved the animation and style of it, and the pacing was just great.

After this episode ....I'm not ready for Shibuya arc
MY FAV EPISODE FOR SURE...loved every second of it and gojo and megumi part was more wholesome than my life.

It's amazing how geto handle the trauma for a year if that was me I can't
Gojo really looks like the guy that parents tell the kids not no to talk to in the street 😂
What is really well done with geto development is that it was not sudden right after the event. It took him some time to think about it and you can see how it made him miserable like with the sound of clapping instead of water 😢
You guys are really not ready for shibuya arc 😅 you might need those weeks to get ready because after it’s only going to be 😳🤯🤪😵💫😱
The star vessel group made Geto realise that the common people is who is truly the strong, as they use the chains of morality to force sorcerers into this dangerous life.

Geto is the only one responsible for his actions, and NOT because of Yuki.

my favorite bit of storytelling from this arc is how in this episode, geto says that gojo had become the strongest. in the first episode of the season, gojo says they’ll be fine on the mission because “we’re the strongest.” they went from being a duo who could go up against anyone and anything, to gojo being the strongest on his own. and seeing how a year later, how much that has affected geto, is just heartbreaking.
It’s like the guys on the sides are brothers and the guys in the middle are brothers

This episode was gold even though everything hurt... Too bad we didn't get to see Brig react to it. It was so sad, terrifying, to witness Geto's descent to hell. His ptsd, crazy overwhelming. The clapping sounds mingled with the pouring rain ? I definitely rewatched that scene a couple more times for how brilliant it was 🤌

Geto was so awesome it sucks he chose the path he did :/
Honestly, I feel so bad for Geto.

Loved the reaction and can't wait to see you reaction to what's next! And yeah I hate Mahito too

A sorcerer can't turn himself into a curse after death like it's a last resort to "stay alive"!! What happens is that if you kill a sorcerer without using cursed energy, they might become a curse after death(it was explained in season 1)
