The difference between the current 120mm Leclerc gun and the 140mm Ascalon is not 2mm but 20mm or 2 cm, the difference is quite huge in fact.

-drones
-missiles
-either the 30mm or the 7.62 (I don’t remember )
His’s new goal is to lower the amount of work of the gunner so he have less things to do at once
This can improve the reaction time, the concentration, the amount of learning the gunner needs, improve overall the survival of the tank and is a 4th crew that can reappear the tank.

As those future *unmanned concepts can no longer effectively store ammunition in a turret basket due to the length of the individual rounds, I see no reason not to use the available space to place an organic dedicated drone operator inside the chassis. Reducing the chassis in size beyond a certain point would destabilize the whole system anyway.
