I love Justice Lord's Superman's design! Really love the costume with the black, white and red. Such a cool and intimidating look for Superman. I love the idea of an older Superman as well. Always amazes me how much you can improve these figures. You really have an eye to be able to see what each one can become and bring them to their full potential. You put a lot of love into each custom and it shows!

("Superman Beyond") It happens in the future that Kal EL turned Bad in the comics in the alternate timeline that didn't exist just yet..thinking mind control was part of Darkseid telepathic powers to control him? I'am knot sure yet.. I have to read more in the comics to find out?🤔/ Great review of him!😄

I really like him but Todd should have gave him a white cloth cape that Superman would have been one of the greats ,plus with the cloth cape we could have looked over the slap paint job over the boots and other places ,plus you put a awesome job on him Todd need too really talk too you your customs are way better then the first products 💯
Ya... The cape is really restrictive...but looks nice... Mcfarlane gets close but to me it's all about the details...👍💀
Damn this came out amazing bones, only thing I keep staring at is the cape doesn’t connect to the shield 😂 when eradicator came out I looked at 5 different figures in store and none of them had the cape properly set it bugged the hell out of my OCD 😅😂

I think there are probably other legs or lower legs that could have been used that don’t have the mold of different boots.
I think this head would be good for an older red son Superman too.

Hey Mr Bones that came out really awesome hey I have a question though that top of the boot where you can still see the line from I guess the previous figure do you think if I mixed some Bondo for a car and just you know a little that you could fill in those lines and smooth it all out. I did paint and body in school for a few years and I just thought about it. You know lol work with what you know lol
You can definitely shave the excess boot lines and add bondo or epoxy sculpt... Sand it and paint it... Done...👍💀

Probably a bit rushed. Theyre really going in on the 2 pack supermans. Had to get this and the atomic Skull two packs. I see the issues with the JL Supes you point out. Lucky for me my wife has the talent for the small repaint it needs

Did you seal the fingers first and then paint or paint then seal

@bonesandthenecrozoo I haven't decided if I want to run the white all the way up his neck. Thanks to you and your videos I successfully did my first Mcfarlane Transplant. I took the wrist pegs from the Batman Beyond that was in this two pack and gave them to Superman. Then I did the painting just like you said and it came out AMAZING!! Thanks to your content I went out and grabbed paints and some other tools to finally start modding and I love it. Now I just have to figure out how to create laser beams that I can add and detach whenever I want. I have two red light saber blades from the Black Series Darth Vader. I was thinking maybe I could do something with them.

This is honestly kind of disappointing. Not only was the Justice Lords 2.0 story woefully weak and wasteful of the two-parter it was continuing on, but McFarlane did the same thing Mattel did when they released the Justice Lords figures: simply paint the bracers over an existing sculpt. I've been working on a custom Lord Batman for a while now and it wouldn't have been much to mold raised bracers for the figure to better represent the source material.
