When you are going to install turbo back. Be sure to make very tight the screw nuts, but not over tight to break stud. And mark them(screw nuts) to check it in 200-1,000 miles. I did not screw well and lost nuts and stud after 1,800 miles. And do not open electronics cover of turbo. Thank you.

Actually you will have to... its not as easy as throwing on a new turbo.. the vgt actuator on a bran new turbo has to be calibrated with cummins insite

How to screw in nuts and bolts. Better to ask the dealer about how much force to use. On my EGR Cooler 4 bolts and 4 studs were rusty and the threads were in bad shape. I ordered nuts and bolts from the dealer and waited 3 days for them. They don't require a lot of force, maybe around 50 lbs. (not sure exactly). It's very easy to overdo it and break them, on the collector region the bolts are long. There was already one bolt with a messed up thread. You have to know how much torque to use before screwing them in. But on the turbine, you must use a lot of force (but you need to know exactly how much so as not to overdo it) because turbines are heavy and if they're not screwed in hard enough they'll become loose.

      th-cam.com/users/edit?o=U&video_id=Wi4SMzjsfmQ
