Great stuff Rich. I must have come close to running into you and Dale, as I was back there at the same time with three friends and saw the same fire blow up. We hiked into the headwaters and floated down from there. Similar experience with respect to fish size seeming down from prior years. I spoke with the FWP Biologist for the area and he said their counts remain pretty consistent as to size and number, but that pressure in recent years has gone up, and perhaps is keeping some of the bigger fish down. We certainly saw many more people than in years past.
