I don't know why people have such an obsession with him. I mean he's cute in a cute little brother type of way, but he's not attractive. He's practically anorexic.
That's interesting your view point. Tell me a bit more your thought about Yuzuru? Yuzuru said that his best weight is 56kg, but it's about between 52 and 53kg now I guess. He'd want to keep a light weight like a feather for his jumps and other skating skills. Weight control is very difficult for any sportsman. Anorexia is tough one to be treated. A Suzuki was anorexia, wasn't she? Yuzuru seems to be stoics and a bit perfectionist. That would be more difficult to conquer anorexia if he was. I hope not. M Asada and D Takahashi have a big year break this season. That is very good for them as they can be back to a normal life a little bit. Yuzuru'd make a real effort non stopping hard work until next Olympic Games as the same as Asada did. I'd like to set him free after that. Yuzuru's life has been changing very fast. The earthquake and tsunami happened and separation from his family members to live in two different places. Graduation from high school and entrance to the uni, his taking part in the competitions and also ice shows.I really do wish that Yuzuru is able to be in the best environment as much as he can. Yuzuru, take a good rest sometimes and have a joke too.
people say the same thing about me until they actually see me eat. -.-; dude can't help his dna. and i'm guessing people find him attractive in the waifish, idolish way? altho he really isn't skin and bones. from the little that's ever been revealed, he's all sinew and muscle underneath. overall, i think he has his physique to thank for the overall elegant quality of his performances. i mean, different skaters have different styles (most male figure skaters tend to have heavier carriage so their styles are more influenced by that) but his is really something else. mura did a lot of weight training but found jumping took a heavy toll on his body due to his muscle mass. he took a look at hanyu and his feathery jumps, toned down his muscles and found jumping took a lot less energy after, with faster spins. hanyu himself apparently isn't gifted with a huge appetite by nature but he eats what he wants. as in, no dietary restrictions. i mean people around him plan his diet to help his stamina but he doesn't have a must-watch-what-i-eat mentality. he'll probably happily shove a hamburger down his gullet so long as they're generous with the tomatoes and lay off on the pickles.
